Idea! Gather string from around the town (Who knows where) and gather some wood, have the local Bow maker make you a bow! Maybe you can snipe those Creeps on the bottom.

Ye go up to the town and get ye sword! The blacksmith comments that this sword took him half a day to make. Woah, you spent that long mining? Anyways,  you take the sword into your hand. It feels quite natural, and fairly well-made to boot.

You learned Attune!
-Being a metal elemental, metal weapons are easy to learn to handle and use. Hell, you could feel an opponent's sword in the air if you tried hard enough. Given some skill, you'd be a terrifying duelist.

Your Plot Senses lead you into to the Crystal Cavern, where you  head down into the mines. As you go in, however, you are accosted by a pack of dogs! Well, if dogs had black fur, red glowing eyes, and absolutely vicious tempers. They don't seem to plan on letting you by.

Morph out some swordarms on the wings and engage!

You make yourself some extra slicy bits from your body (which you can do, of course!) and ENGAGE!

...You kind of flail it all wildly. Nonetheless, the Hellhounds that attack you die before hurting you. There are still many, many dogs, though!

Walk on by in a "Haters Gonna Hate" Fashion. If any of them break line to commit effective suicide, spin around in circles attack!
