The original intent of this was to write a fun story using modded minecraft, show off some mods in the process, and integrate forum suggestions when possible.

Also its nice having someone other than a horse and two cows to interact with.

I find it strange that I specifically refresh my B12 feed to find this thread and my 20 or so RPs, and always jump to this one first.

I WISH I had this modpack on Friday. I was bored and genned a world... You won't believe the insanity I found.

Its a snowy biome with massive, sculped mountains like I've never seen, a desert with lagoons and a large ocean next door, and a MASSIVE chasm 10 tiles from spawn. I jumped down through a waterfall, and explored it. Its HUGE, runs down under the mountains on both sides, and eventually drops into... ANOTHER CHASM, running across the first just below. And below that? ANOTHER. FUCKING. CHASM.

Crisscross mega-chasms next to spawn, giant trees, jungle across the lake, desert after the mountain, a lake of ice, some awesome, super-high mountains with epic shapes and sharp edges...

I LOVE this place.

Just binged through the story so far, posting to watch.

I don't see how you can call the quarry 'simple' by the way. Also, you posted day 57/58 twice.

I like the formatting, it's more immersive than putting captions under each image.

good news/bad news

1. This is ending. Mostly because I messed up my world again while testing out something for the modpack and its broke beyond what I can fix.

More seriously, I'll be starting a new minecraft LP very soon with a slightly different story and theme. I won't focus so much on thaumcraft this time as well. It will be the same form and presentation, and I will link it here when its ready and up.

Also: I am currently tweaking the mod pack for release. Should be done tonight or tomorrow. It has lots of new stuff.
