Item counters

A useful feature to have would be to chose specific items to keep track of, and the game will show either always on screen, or in a menu that takes a single key to get to, how many of that item you have that are not in use.

Actually, I've been thinking about this more and more, lately, and I think that another major Interface thread may be in order, focusing upon more ways to get data easily into the hands of the player.

Specifically, the sub-windows we Tab open like the mini-map and the "what buttons you can press" window don't have to be the only things open, what if, instead, we could have other windows we could put up, like a real-time stocks tracker for specific types of goods or an alert that tells us when specific jobs are complete?  We could also have another "follow dwarf" window so that we can watch an axelord's combat as it plays out real-time.

... Still, this would be its own thread, and I'm stewing on the particulars before I go the step of making another thread on it.
