Is that it?  Anyone know for certain?  I can't find anything about it on the wiki.

Yeah, every month I go down the list of units and use this, or they get an unhappy thought.

used it on a clothes maker who was getting unhappy to make her find something to make her happy. It cancels jobs done at workshops and such, but not hauling/on break/drink/party/eat/pasture animal (not sure about this one).

Hmmm. Sounds like it could be useful for getting your broker to the Depot sometimes.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

It removes a variety of jobs (mostly the jobs that actually have a skill associated with them, so not hauling animals or drink/eat/sleep/break). I believe a similar function is also available from the (j) menu.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Yep, you can do the same thing in (j)obs.  That's how I got my beekeepers unstuck when they were standing around dying of thirst and hunger because they couldn't find their bees.  I hope beekeeping gets fixed soon; it's neat, but between the low value of the products, the long production chain, and the potentially dwarf-slaying bugs, I ended up taking down all my hives.  No more mead  :'(
