-Inspired by SyreupLeaf, we will involve concepts such as "evil". I would like this to have a loose story, such as "Frogmen controlled by demons" for example, but not so stupid. But this is simply a Succesion, so you can decide to continue or ignore the story on your turns.


Simple Gems, Trees, Soils, Minerals and pets. Harder mining and farming. (Although warpstone still appears, I forgot to change it before spawn)

THis is a 4X4 on a evil tundra with a cave. Since syreupleaf had its greatest moments wading in the cold. Yes, cliche and unoriginal, but hey, my "evil swamp" mad became a "Happy plains"


We will play 1 year ingame, and then we switch, major events may delay the end of turns by a few days to finish off things like invaders. Storytelling is required, journals of your dwarfed charecters are by all means encouraged but not required. If your dwarf dies while your overseer, you may continue as a unclaimed regent that you will refer to as "regent."

To keep the area "unknown" I did not check the nearby civs, but there is ATLEAST one dwarven civ nearby. Shallow and Deep metals, clay. This is my SECOND attempt at a SG, last one died of 6x6 FPS death.

We have a copper war hammer, sweet pods and dimple seeds off-screen.

How does one know when your damned? When your sent to a tundra to make a new capital.


I am CoraiUnki, I was a humble farmer. I grew the crops, I carried them to a stockpile, and all was good. The smell of peat in my lungs cheered me up and I was never in true danger. But then our insane benevolent king brought me to his court, I swore I felt a knife in my stomach.

"Hello my fair farmer, you know of the tundras far to the north"

"The ones haunted by undead and frostbite?"

"Yes"

"Why?"

"I always wanted to visit, but then, I had a idea. Why not have someone make me a capital there, and I can live in peace! Soooo.....your living there now, have fun!" And with that, he went off to his pet Mole, nuzzling it like it was a dog, poor thing.


Yes, our king is a insane psychopath in every aspect of the word truly wonderful. I get six people to come with me and help me make a new capital there. Three miners, a mason, me, a brewer and a soldier to protect us. I cant wait.

I'll take the Mason, name them Cain. If we are going to the far north, we will live like we belong there and build a right proper longhouse! At least that is what myself and my dwarf want.

I began our trek to this hellish tundra, even in spring it was cold. I ordered a room dug out and our items brought inside, but then out of nowhere, it started raining vomit! And not just any vomit, when it touched us it made us blister like hell!






Then something horrific happens, the brewer was eaten alive by a swarm of dead coyotes!  Luckily me and a few others are inside, and were abandonding the surface wagon until we can channel underneath. I decided to dig into the cave nearby to get stone to wall ourselves off. Then those things found us! A miner got killed and we ran, then our other miner, then blam, I woke up. Luckily it was all a dream. But now I know we have but days to get underground before the living dead attack.

"Hey Corai, whats wrong? Were here get up"


(Saved by the crash, this time I know to burrow the cave to survive)

We truly arrived this time, and I must get us inside immediatly, I order the cave dug out and supplies brought in. I also see a small fire blob. And it began, the vomit began falling and people were running like hell into the cave, I made it inside with a miner, everyone else is either crawling inside or passed out. Sharkydoodle got slaughtered by the coyote swarm and so did the other miner. Then Sharkydoodle's corpse started walking. I ducked back inside after that. Cain was still out there hiding from the coyotes, please Armok let him get inside....He made it! But he lured Sharkydoodle inside. Were running around inside, but then I decided that we take him down, I yelled and charged and....Cain smashed his head and sharkydoodle fell! I ordered everyone deep inside. Well hopefully find a cavern and we can start a farm using seeds down there. Us three will survive, if it kills me.


And on a happier note, another adoreable blob flopped nearby, it was adoreable, shame it exploded in blisters.


Moments after we arrived, Urist's corpse found us, I charged, he snapped my right arm, I kicked, he bruised both my arms. I tackled, he bruised my spleen. Then he kneed my groin. (For the ladies Ill say "Lower Body") Eventuly it just fell apart. Just me and Cain now.....

Well, its been about a week we been jammed in this cave. I asked Cain to smooth the walls to make it nicer when she threw a tantrum, screaming "WHY DID WE COME HERE, WHY DID THIS HAPPEN, AAAAGH!" and she stormed up three levels and starting to pout, a hour later a horse skeleton attacked her. Then the corpse of one of our old friends attacked.

(I couldnt upload the fight report sadly.)

I watched and ran to help when several more of the beasts found us, Cain kicked, I punched, they bit, we ripped. Eventully Cain was slain by Sharkydoodle's corpse and I found myself fleeing deeper, I finish this journal as.

-The rest of the journal is ripped and covered with blood, it was found clutched by a walking corpse that bore a resemblance to Corai, the seven dwarves that died are now known by all as heroes, and the king was later forced to sign a degree that he could no longer send expeditions to the evil lands on the ground that twelve rescue parties were found dead on the thirteenth. BleedTrials crumbled to its end before it was even a month old. Sharkydoodle was remembered to be the first to fall.-
