Medieval II: Britannia AAR Interest Check
« on: March 28, 2012, 05:30:22 pm »

I was recently travelling through Wales and that inspired me to play a game of Medieval II as Wales. Is anyone interested in an AAR of them? Or perhaps another faction? Or even other game?

I'd follow it.

Incidentally, what does AAR stand for? I've gathered that it's similar to a let's play, but the acronym details escape me.

So, Medieval 2: Total War: Kingdoms: Britannia campaign? I don't think there's Wales in vanilla non-expansed M2TW. I reckon you'll be playing without any mods? I'd be cool with Welsh.

AAR stands for After Action Report. In common parlance it's pretty much just an alternative way to say LP.

Yeah. no mods. I do have a Westeros one installed, but honestly it still needs work.

I'd definitively watch it, especially since this campaign was to be my backup if I couldn't get Medieval: Total War running.

What difficulty will this be on? I'd recommend VH/VH in Britannia, the AI seems to be even more retarded in that one.

Oh! I'll be borrowing a friend's copy of Empire later this week and I'll definitely have it long enough to do a campaign. Does anyone want to watch my first ever game in Empire instead of this?

Not a big fan of Empire/Napi. I'd still watch it. I'd prefer M2TW but whatever keeps you playing and updating is fine.

I'll be honest, holding on for Empire is probably a better idea. We get more Fun this way.

There's nothing to see here yet anyway. Pick your favorite.
