Maxinum learns that the pit empties itself. Because it's a magic pit. I dunno, the pit isn't part of this test!

Araph realises that the room is rather boring-just entrance and exit opposite each other, with the pad and inscriptions in the middle.

Tiruin realises that you could go around the keypad, but the door is still locked.

Toaster puts in three digits, but he needs the fourth. Nevertheless, for an inventive solution (and partially because you need them) Toaster recieves a Hint Token. He may use this to recieve a hint.

Borno fails to input the correct code. He dies 4 numbers in.

And according to an earlier post it's not directly written out horizontally, vertically or diagonally as it is now. We're not sure about reversals though. It's 4 numbers. Thats still a lot of possibilities. Like...a lot a lot. Hm.

It was worth a shot!  Also, we confirmed it's exactly four numbers long (which I guess we already knew.) 

The possibilities are also cut down given there's no 9 or 0 in the code.


Do I lose the token if (when) I die?  I'd rather save it, but if I'll lose it, I'll blow it now.

Put it somewhere safe. Even if you die, the group can still use it then.

I also had two hunches, but they both seem to be wrong :V

So I'm guessing we have to do this in the way originally intended and any attempts to do otherwise will find us in the magic pit. Hm.

I'm not seeing a way around this beyond brute forcing our way through number permutations and thats not exactly the sort of thing we want to be doing. The correctly arranged numbers may spell something, or not.

Can anyone thing of a 4 letter word related to "For emergences"  we can spell out with 3 a's, 1 b,2 c,1 d, 3 e, 1 f, 1 g,and 2 h?
