Dude, this has slipped to like last month.

Polite bump to show that we still are terribly fond of you.

And to thee, I bequeath the same answer as to the people in my other RtD: Until I'm done with Exams, which will be in approximately three days, no update. Sorry.

One passed, one failed. Could be better, I'm kinda angry about that. Still, expect the update by Sunday or Saturday evening.

Well, could certainly have been worse, too.

Don't let the exams win.

I feel like there's a joke I could make about how the turn is still on schedule, but instead I'll say: come back!  We miss you!

Heh, the exam time fliuidly changed into stressful regular uni, and in the free time I have - it isn't even that short - I try to forget that I have any obligations at all.

But good to see you post in here too, Dwarmin. I was worried you'd not be attached to this at all after the silly waiting period - the others are already used to it, but you...  :-X

Currently statting a character. Turn tomorrow at earliest, day after tomorrow at latest.

((Also, I have invested so much time in Dark Souls that I can probably write Elenor's character far better, heh))

Actually, I had pretty much forgotten I was even in. :P

I clicked on the thread and thought 'Wait, I was playing this, right?"

I second the playing of Dark Souls. How was your experience with the game?

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

At 110~120 hours in: Very positive, probably enough to permanently spoil other 3rd person RPGs for me. Personal high points:

- First using the Rapier. Love at first sight.
- Dragonslayer Greatbow. Now if those arrows weren't that expensive...
- Thunder & Thighs. Awesome/epic boss, not too hard but definitely demands patience. Looking forward to rematching them, some day.
- Generally, humanoid enemies are the ones I like fighting the most. Going up against a bunch of Silver Knights is always fun.
- First victory against an invading Darkwraith. There's just no words.
- Duke's Archives was really intense. Many ohshi- moments, one mad dash in hope of finding a bonfire without any Estus.
- Running through Undead Burg on a second character and killing the Black Knight in melee - with my first character I found it impossible and had to resort to many, many firebombs and a convenient ladder.
- Blowing up Pinwheel with a friend within ~1 second or so.
- Going at Artorias as a phantom with same friend, friend dies but I kill Arty just in the nick of time to finish the battle and give him its soul.
- Trying to drop off the ledge into the Four Kings boss fight with the 'Well - what is it!" gesture. Impacting on another ledge and dying.
- The beauty of certain areas, like Ash Lake or Anor Londo. Also, the interconnectedness of the world. Had a lot of 'Oh, THERE I am!" moments.
- Full Elite Knight Armor, except with a skirt. Because it looks hilarious.
- The moment where you're disappointed the game's not getting any harder anymore (and then the moment when you die anyway and feel stupid for it)
- Tomb of Giants and its Dwarf Fortress definition of Fun.
- The feeling you get when resting at Firelink Shrine after returning from a longer venture...
- Dying to unarmored hollows and feeling really stupid.
- The big thing is how you're learning and adapting within the game - expecting ambushes, not entering rooms without looking everywhere and with shield up, shooting things from range if they're not moving anywhere near you... of course the whole combat system as well.

Also, personal low points for completeness' sake:

- Every time I could kill a boss at first try (Demon Centipede, Firesage Demon, Pinwheel...) - technically, Capra Demon too, but that was mainly because I did him after Sif for some reason and thus was grossly overleveled/overgeared for him...
- Killing every single Bounding Demon of Izalith and then finding out I did all that for nothing.
- Actually, Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith in general.
- Fucking Titanite Demons.
- Fucking swinging axe blades in Sen's Fortress.
- I'm scared of heights. Dark Souls has a lot of narrow ledges.
- Several bosses later in the game are disappointing - it'd be easier to list the cool ones... (Artorias, Sanctuary Guardian... uh...)
- I'm playing on PC - so I get severe framelags at times.
- Finding out that Dual-Wielding was kinda booty no matter what you tried, and that Silver Tracer/Gold Tracer was somehow really bad.

...and on a somewhat related note, I have grown really fond of shields. A good shield is your best friend in that game.
...to summarize, I want Dark Souls 2.
