Giant enemy crab!
« on: March 27, 2012, 05:49:56 am »

So recently on one of my embarks, I got wiped out quickly. I embarked, sent my dwarves to do their setup routine and went to the bathroom. When I returned, I think something pissed it off because my dwarves all got rocked by a giant crab. I see why ancient japan had their issues against them.. or, maybe my dwarves were pathetic.

I recently had my own giant enemy crab in the form of a web-spitting giant crab forgotten beast. It killed some peasant, stole his clotes and proceeded to try and beat eveyone up wielding cloth items on its pincers. It was almost as pathetic as the original "giant enemy crab" video.

I see your problem.
You THINK that your dwarves are pathetic.
You have to KNOW that dwarves are batshit and cant do anything right.
Thats why we love them <3

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

DF crabs are badass. Even a regular one is strong enough to tear off an entire hand.

If Snake can't take on a crab, how the hell could your dwarves do any better!  :D

"This succession fort was inspired by real life medieval history. Now here's the giant enemy crab. Attack its weakpoint for massive damage."

I want to tell you they were bad men, cephalo.  I want to tell you that with a better overseer the Fortress never would've gotten so bad someone would get offed in a pointless fisticuffs.
But the sad truth charlie?
It was inevitable.
