How long should wait before replacing people? It feels like I'm replacing a lot of people this round.

By which I mean, Powderminer hasn't been online for 2.5 days so I'm replacing him. If anybody not currently in Round 3 can do dialogue tonight let me know.

I could start a perma-list for that. If the perma list grows beyond 10 people then it'll end up being all the same people every time, but I guess we burn that bridge if we come to it. I'll add that to the OP in a bit.

Well then can you add me to the perma-list, but alternating between words and art?

My suggestion Re. Permalist: at the end of a round, all the people on the permalist are stuck on the end of the waitlist? Then they will definitely be used if the next round hasn't been filled up yet, but other people can still join a new round whlst the preceding one is still going.

I vote you set time limits. 24 hours for dialog and 48 for art. If anyone needs extra time they can PM you.

The tablet at my grandparents' is broken, as I noticed. I drew the thing by hand, but they don't have a scanner. I should be able to post these tomorrow as I get home. Alternatively you can replace me, but yeah. Sorry about that.

This is more or less what I'm doing already (except sending out a courtesy PM asking what's up before replacing someone), but I'm strongly considering making it a hard rule. I understand that things can come up preventing someone from finishing in that timeframe (like Otto), but if it's going to take longer than a couple days it's great to know, so I don't have to wonder what's going on and try to hunt the person down for an update.

Okay guys, for the past four hours I've been trying to scan the image. Four. I'm on a Mac here, OS X 10.7.3.

The scanner/printer thingie is Canon MP510. The Mac seems to detect the printer part here, but the scanner part is a whole different story.

Oh, VueScan apparently detects it. The problem is it watermarks the hell out of it.

I'll send it as it is, and fix it later, okay?
