A couple of Questions about werecreatures.

Is there a good way to get bitten by a were creature without getting your skull crushed?

Do you turn into the were creature that bit you?

I've got some things about creatures here http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=105658.0. You do turn into a were-creature when bitten, but only when it penetrates the fat. A way to do it without getting your skull, crushed, well, you should try to get it to bite your arm, run away, then finish it off later. Don't worry about your limbs being bitten off, as they will grow back.

Go into their lair in full platemail minus gauntlets and boots. Unequip your weapons. Get into close combat and skip turns until it bites you on a hand/arm/foot, then pull out your weapon and kill it.

I like to cripple the werebeast first and then remove one gauntlet.  By breaking all its arms and legs, it is less likely to wrestle you and snap your joints.  Then you put away your shield and let the beast bite away until it bites the arm that is missing the gauntlet.  Finally get away as soon as you are able or kill the beast quickly because you will lose enough blood to become Faint.
