He began heading off for Ariana and Khan. If he gets there fast enough (this turn), he stops them from doing anything extreme and hands her the fire crystal, for them to try and use as a cure. Also, try and figure out how to use the water staff while they fiddle about with the fire crystal. If the method of staff wielding is discovered, try to use it to feel for Arianas venom.

Haven't posted because I'm really not sure what to do. I didn't actually want to use the hex on Irony last turn since he didn't consent - and for future reference, I'm not going to use it on anyone unless they ask me or I ask them if they want to and they say yes, since they have a chance of getting weaker from it - even though it seems to have worked out a little... but I really don't want to move on until we get this situation with his character sorted out. I don't think a second use of the hex would help considering I got a five on the first use of it and it only half-way worked.

Kahn waits for some sort of inspiration about what to do to fix Arianna.

Ire flumped to the ground with an audible clatter of possessions from her belt as she sat cross-legged on the floor, musing on what had just occurred.

I'm useless. Always have been, still am now. Whatever battle we're fighting here isn't ours, and yet I still want to help out thinking that I'm some kind of hero to these people...I don't even know them, and I'm trying to help them.

Yeah, and then habit kicks in, the motive to steal. I can't even find the nearest staircase, and I really wanted to visit the marketplace a few floors below again. There's Zalgo, and then Popo and Gretel to look after. And Juha. Bremen. Lotusia...

But hell, I'm all alone now. No Azastre, or Rod, or Arianna...not certainly any knight in shining- dented armor to save me.

Nope. I haven't even done anything I wished for in my youth. Try to be a baker, nope. Secure an honorable profession, nope. Get friends...I can't even perform for any team, I'm just a liability...I mean, Azastre is too kind for his own good, giving me his toga...and Kahn for...being Kahn. I don't know.

Maybe I should've listened to the old man...I mean, just punching people 'in the name of justice' isn't a way to do anything significant in life. I should've become a guard.

ftp://Ace 1 heads to Arianna, and, deciding to look manly, powerful, and confident, throws the crystal at Arianna uncourteously, growling, "Here, take crystal."

3 Having satisfactorily looked manly, Ace fiddles with the water staff, but doesn't have the nearest idea of how to use it. It's a bit brittle to hit people with it, and he doesn't know how mages usually cast magic. :x

Azastre 3 thoroughly ignores the weird girl and goes halfway up the stairs, waiting for his party mates, who all seem content on staying on this floor to do things. He is bored and fiddles with his clothes as the girl shouts something in his ear ("Hey! Stop ignoring me! You jerk!"), wondering what's happening on the 17th floor, where Juha, robot, and Zalgo are.

Rod 1,1,1 deals 4 damage to Arianna as his healing backfires. He shudders to think what would have happened if he said it out loud.

Arianna winces as Rod accidentally hurts her. 6->6 With her flawless reasoning, she convinces her body to reject the venom. It slowly fades away into just a bad memory. She stops shivering, and feels her hands burn as heat returns to them.

Ire spots the stairs in front of her, just past the main Fire base, with Azastre halfway up it and pouting, waiting for the other people to join him. A girl, short with big horn glasses is pestering Azastre, but he's ignoring her just like she doesn't exist. Ire talks to the lizard, asking what its name is. It flicks its tail and makes a grunting noise, then swishes at a passing Fire mage, causing her to jump and yelp before scurrying away.

(Moving on strongly suggested, people! >_< We're kinda stagnating here.)

Background: Shadow grew up in a small village and was raised by an aging Spirit Mage there who went by the name of Rikilson, originally Shadow's name was Leon Salvar, but an incident at the age of 12 caused him to change his name and flee his home town. Learning magic from the time he could talk Leon became in-tune so to say with Spirit Magic, at the age of 12 the town was attacked by a large band of bandits. Leon's Master was killed soon after the fighting broke out and in an effort to save the village Leon contracted the Asura Salastar, an evil spirit on the level of a lesser god who took the form a massive snake that could devour fire, into his body to gain the power to protect the village.

The spirit was to much for Leon to control at first and in the ensuing battle he destroyed the village and killed many of the people he sought to protect, finally gaining control of the Asura Leon fled into the mountains and spent many years in hiding sealing the demon into his body. Now he seeks to reach the top of the tower and gain the power to rebuild his village and purge the Asura within him lest it take over and he loose a true demon into the world.

Arianna began laughing as she felt the poison finally leave her, building up to a crescendo of loud, slightly villainous triumphant cackling. Freeeeeeeeee!

She gleefully accepted Kahn's help to her feet, letting out a few more peals of laughter as she practically skipped to the stairs. She felt fantastic, despite technically still being a bit injured from the poison's effects. It was time to do things.
