Azastre's eyes shine as he sees some interesting stuff, but that quickly subdues as he shrinks a little, as if feeling cornered by the amount of people and activity in the floor. He clings to the robot for some time before finally jumping to the ground, his eyes still zipping and trying to take all in.

Azastre tries to look for and obtain something to help his kestrel be more active and overall better.

Arianna stood still for a moment, a bit overwhelmed by the sight before her. When she recovered, she quickly divided the room into four groups.

The dragonoids were interesting but unknown. Speaking to them might reveal something interesting, or it might reveal nothing or even cause problems. She also had the feeling that she had some of their coinage, should she be in a gambling mood.

The human-things were... well, she didn't know what to make of them. Perhaps she would soon.

The black knights... were interesting. She was curious what their chanting was for, as well as their true natures.

The paladins were likewise interesting. She wondered just what they were doing here- clearly they weren't entirely happy with the nearby chanting, but obviously not perturbed enough to do anything about it. So...?

So, she may as well get started.

"Greetings. I am Arianna Salgrief, rogue Death Knight and seeker of the tower. Might I ask your name and what you are doing here? What is this place?"

Approach a dragonoid, humanlike thing, black knight, and paladin, in that order. Give the above greeting to each, and wait for their response.

Train Diplomacy?

((Ideally I'd like to get four conversations running at once, or just gather four bits of info, or at least not waste a full turn asking a dragonoid only to find it doesn't speak my language. If I can only talk to one, or just can't talk to all four, just treat the list order as an order of priorities.))

2 A tall dragonoid, with muscled body and tall, colored white with a navy crest, and most importantly holding a staff that has a three-pronged but short end, with a silver sheen while the end is gold, walks up and taps Kahn on the shoulder. He says,

"Mwhuu hashssi?"

Arianna:

Dragonoid is a tall one, maybe six feet and clutching a two-ended metallic spear, and says, "Miwhjjist raizist yo?"

Human-like is short. She only comes up to about Arianna's shoulders, and is maybe five feet. She has fair hair and deep blue eyes, and is wearing sturdy leather. She has a pair of expensive-looking swords hanging openly from her belt. She replies, "My name is Sandra, death knight, and I am going to kill you. This place is your death ground."

She draws both of the swords in a fluid action and seems ready to use them.

Somehow you also talk to black knight. He says, "Welcome, Arianna Death Knight. I am called Harbinger, and I am a black knight of the Seventh Legion, watching my brothers participate in a ritual to summon Pomm, the Deliverer and Courier of Eternal Darkness."

You talk to the paladin. He spits at you except he's wearing his visor down so he ends up spitting in his own helmet. He says,

"Not another one of those... grr."

Ire 2 doesn't do anything useful with her spear.

3,6->1,1= 30 pt towards Animal Training.

Azastre slumps his shoulders in shame. He seems to be leaning towards believing he is really a terrible person due to his achievements. His gaze runs across the floor and he watches as the blonde woman from his group is threatened by another woman, giving him a chance to try and help someone this time. The worst thing that may happen is causing her to change targets to him, after all.

Azastre tries to convince the woman who wants to attack Arianna to stop and be his friend. If she doesn't listen to his arguments, he wrestles her to prevent her from using any of her swords.

To the Dragonoid, Arianna raised her hands in a shrugging "I don't know" gesture.

"I'm afraid I can't understand you. Do you know how to communicate in my tongue?"


To Harbinger, Arianna smiled.

"I see. What business do you have with this Pomm, and why here of all places? Do you know anything of these reptilians? And why do these paladins linger so?"


To the paladin, Arianna merely shrugged and said nothing.


Sandra, however, required special attention. Her first thought was merely to engage the self-righteous fool, before it occurred to her that she had no weapons and slipshod armor. That left either trying to wrestle one of the woman's weapons away from her, or diplomacy. Well, prepare for one, hope for the other, she supposed...

"Do you attack all travelers so?" she asked accusingly, assuming a defensive stance but waiting for her to make the first move. "Or perhaps you've some 'special' grievance?"

Then Ace intervened. Mainly by approaching the short woman in an indecent outfit and assuming she was a paladin, but still- Arianna supposed that was, if nothing else, a barrier to hide behind. Might as well make the most of it.


Get ready to dodge if she attacks, but wait for her to make the first move. Attempt diplomacy. Rather abrasive diplomacy, but still. Continue talking to dragonoid and Harbinger, if possible.

Keep talking with Harbinger and attempting to communicate with the dragonoid. Keep an eye on the... situation with Sandra and Ace.
