Kahn clenches his teeth and plunges his hand into the water and plucks the four gems. They are cut in the very well-known Imperial style. Kahn 4 affixes them to his spear.

The spear has become a +2 Shocking Plus Spear. It shocks on 5-6 instead of just 6 as before.

Jack drinks!

Ire climbs yon stairs and inspects the barbs. 1 She accidentally pricks herself while doing that. She notes that the barbs are dripping with a clear liquid that is not her blood, by any chance.

The dull burning feeling starts to spread.

He also wears calligae (roman soldier sandals), altough they are styled like the roman civilians' sandals, despite their sturdier leather.

Defense : Is subtracted on opposed attack rolls when the hurty thing hits you. Since numbers are rounded, even half a point is quite useful.

Skills provide a +n bonus to whatever. Skills like Enhanced Attack or Toughness add a point to whatever stat, though. Skills are trained.
