1 miss lassoing. The rope taps the clay monster before bouncing off and tangling up 1 yourself, somehow. You fall to the ground.

Turning around, he sees a huge rocky thing casting a shadow on him from the third floor. It is roughly in the shape of a well-built human sans the legs, twice as tall and four times as wide, with pillars of rough rock for arms and yellow gems gleaming as eyes. It is colored a cyan-black, and seems to move by using its arms. It stands there, just looking at you, and also unable to reach you.


Houbert

You tackle the creature!

5 and completely overwhelm it! You bearhug the thing, trying to prevent it from moving its arms to attack.

The creature cannot retaliate next turn.

Then he decides to help Rod disentangle if he is unable to do it himself, proceeding to help in the fight against the monster if needed. Meaning if it is aggressive at all. Try diplomacy first, and if it fails, smack it down.

He has fiery orange eyes, a very young-looking face and is stark naked at the moment except for a pristine white Roma-style toga draped over his shoulders which ends at his thighs and tends to flutter from time to time, much to his dismay. He also wears calligae (roman soldier sandals), altough they are styled like the roman civilians' sandals, despite their sturdier leather.
Background: Azastro...Can not quite remember much about him except for the fact that he is, or used to be, some kind of smith, crafter or engineer. Even his name is a makeshift one until he remembers more about his past and his lack of memories causes him to be introverted in most occasions.

Background: Known to be a deviant person, Ire was brought up with knowledge of the law and it's rapport with the common people. Living her life as a lone vigilante in the prime cities, stopping would-be-muggers and thieves, she has learned most of her own skills from the people she tracks.

Ironically, she has never taken a life nor stolen without repaying back, in anyway whatsoever.

However, your carefully picked words of "Hi, how are you doing?" enrage the thing for some reason, and all further talking is thrown out the window. Also, the creature gets +1 RAEG BONUS to attack and defense.

Maybe "Hi, how are you doing" translates to "I'm gonna kill you, your wife, your children AND your grandparents, then burn your house down before rebuilding it just to burn it down AGAIN.".

That, or "bananas".
