Azastre sighs and sits down to rest a bit and lick his wounds. Preferentially, not using the literal meaning, of course. He notices Ire is going to try and do something downstairs, unslinging his rifle and aiming at the crowd, squinting his eyes as he prepares to fire upon any threat.

Azastre heals himself and sits atop the stairs to provide covering fire for Ire if necessary (shoot anyone that tries to attack her) with the +2/+3 Small Gem Bullet.

Arianna 3 takes a standing leap off the statue! She reaches! She feels herself slowing down! She starts falling! AHHHHH

3 She lands flat on her back. She takes 5 damage from the fall.

She gains +3 Acrobatics XP, in the terms of "How Not To Do Acrobatics 101".

Rod watches Arianna fall, then 5 hurls his grappling hook. 5 It loops around the lowest railing. A tug shows that it has caught. But will it hold up...? The railing looks awfully thin.

Ire 5 enters maniac mode and hurls herself onto the ground, near Lotusia's corpse, and whirls around. She mentally calls her two fire chasers back to her (they disappear from Kahn and reappear behind her) and she prepares to blast away anyone near. Right now, it seems the crowd is distracted by the dragonoid's cadaver. She quickly 1 slips on the tiles and falls over.

Kahn looks up. The stairs are more than three-thirds reached by by the statue's body. It might not be a good idea to dismantle it. He lets Juha down gently and returns Ace's revolver to him.

Azastre 3 almost laps at his wounds before he catches himself. He 6->1 6->4,6->3,5= 14 damage (to himself) feels and watches his lucid healing backfire. And it backfires very powerfully, whisking away half of his health that remains. He pants a bit from the pain and shakes his head to clear the remnants of what was fuzzing his head. He sits atop the stairs and watches Ire trip over her own feet or something and carefully keeps guard.

Kahn, seeing that Ire didn't follow him, headed back downstairs to see what the hold-up was. Upon ascertaining the situation he attempts to just grab the corpse and drag it back upstairs, figuring Ire will follow him if he does so.

Rod 6->1 starts climbing on the rope. Halfway up, he notices an ominous creaking just before the railing breaks and sends him sprawling on the hard, hard ground.

2 dmg is taken from the fall. He is hit by a chunk of sterling silver and the climbing hook, adding injury to injury, 4 damage more. Dang, that silver hurts.

Kahn 1 unceremoniously drags Lotusia's corpse by the leg all the way up the stairs. He sets it down next to Juha.

Ire runs away, 3 and heads up to floor 15. 3  She is too busy moping to ask Popo anything.

6->2 She fails to cast Field Healing.

Arianna 2 isn't able to heal herself. 2 She cuts her finger while drawing her sword and takes 1 damage.

Azastre 2 finds it hard to rest on the bumpy mortar that's left of the floor. There isn't any tiles left.

Ace 4,1,6->3= 5 pt to Acrobatics. He does a couple feeble forward tumbles.

He then 2 wanders about, tapping the walls to see if they're real.

Background: Known to be a deviant person, Ire was brought up with knowledge of the law and it's rapport with the common people. Living her life as a lone vigilante in the prime cities, stopping would-be-muggers and thieves, she has learned most of her own skills from the people she tracks.
