Ire lumps her two chasers into one larger one and runs up to the statue. She takes a deep breath and smashes it.

1(d6) + 3(2d6) +9(2d6) -1 + 4 vs 2(d6)
= 14 damage

The dark chaser explodes with a blast and leaves behind a black mist that quickly disperses. One of the statue's limbs fly off and skid across the floor, leaving long scratch marks.

A red fiery chaser appears. It looks like a red sphere with bright flames wreathing it. The dark chasers disappear.

The statue looks at where its arm was.



Arianna 6->1 scurries away but slips and makes no traction.

6->1 One monk kicks her behind hard.
3+4 vs 1+2
= 4 damage

It hurts.

1 The other monk bodyslams her.

2+4 vs 2+2
= 2 damage

She is currently squished beneath one monk.


Kahn 6->2 turns into an orangutan! However, he feels weird — he has an urge to eat bananas, scratch himself, and maybe have a nap. Mmm, naps. Naps sound good.
Wait, what was he going to do again? ???


Azastre 2 tries to heal Arianna, but he can't aim correctly, due to her being beneath a muscly, hulking monk.

6->6->2 + 3 + 4 vs 3 + 4
= 14 damage

Perhaps he had a sudden flash of insight — he hits a spot that is perfect, and the monk is flung bodily across the room and into the statue. With a splurch, he comes to a still stop.


Rod dashes at the monk that just kicked Arianna and swings his claymore.

6->2 + 3 + 4 + 2 vs 3 + 4
= 10 damage

His powerful swing lodges in the man's neck. He falls to his knees.


Shadow 2 is harshly reminded of the reason training isn't practiced on live targets. Mainly, they have a lot of fight in them.

The goblin switches on its flamethrower, and a gout of flame burns towards him.

3 + 10 + 2 vs 3
He is burned to a crisp.

Or he should be, but the demon spirit that is with him materializes itself in the world and takes just enough of the blast to save Shadow from becoming a tasty human roast.

The spirit is badly wounded. <-1 to future spirit rolls>

Shadow is at 0 HP. The goblin is reloading and preparing for another fire blast.


Jack 6->4 hums the Cake Song, which definitely doesn't include lies, and collects a couple more shiny gems, and a nice red slab of tile. He is blissfully ignorant of his comrades being kicked, squashed, burnt, and otherwise abused.

Jack is content.

Ire wiped off the sweat forming on her brow, seeing her work unfinished.

Still, the cries (or the smell of flesh cooking) attracted her eye. Shadow was turned from a rare into something thorough.

If I help them, I'll give away my position. If I do that, they'll probably kill me...

...

But I must kill. Perhaps I can get two birds in one stone.


Stealth!

Palm Blast ye statue! Hopefully collateral damage will strike those attacking my...'friends'.

Aces eyes spit fire as he pulls himself off of the ground he fell to. He brings himself to his feet, and gives the baldies a slow, smoldering glare. A small, psychopathic smile spreads across his features.

"Looks like you're about to have a real bad day."

In one fluid motion, he draws the panning mithril and sterling silver revolvers, loads the mithril up with the Pheonix Quartz bullet, and fires into the crowd, activating it's ability to make a life force bullet, as well as regenerating the bullet. Then, he loads his Sterling Silver revolver up with the Enigma Mana bullet, and fires that into himself for BULLET TIME.

Arianna let out another ragged cough, holding her stomach and accepting Rod's hand up. Today was not her day.

"Thank you," she muttered to Azastre and Rod through a grimace. "And yes, common problem."

She really needed to get back into some armor. She wouldn't have thought she'd miss her old floor tile armor this much, but it really had been effective.

For the moment, though, all she needed was rest.

Azastre also helps Arianna up as well with his gloved hand and smiles weakly at her, the memory of her cham-induced attack on him, Popo and Gretel still fresh on his mind. But the cham was the one to be blamed, he supposed, although he wondered if it only didn't give free reign to the person's darkest wishes...

Azastre heals Arianna, trying it once more if needed, attacking any remaining monk/goblin if not.

Ire 5+1 stealths easily and without much thinking. She's getting rather used to this. +3 to Stealth.

3d6 + 3d6 + 4 - 1 vs 2
= 7 damage

With another "boom", another arm flies off the statue.
6 It flies off and hits the guy who is on Arianna, whom your friends don't seem to notice, and clobbers both him and Arianna. 3 damage is taken by both.

The statue looks at its missing two arms.

Behind her, Ire sense another of those Fire chasers forming.

Ace
6->22d6 + 5 + 4 + 10 + 6->42d6 vs 6->1 + 16
= 14 damage

Ace pulls the trigger on both guns at the same time. A pair of bullets streak towards the statue, and then what seems to be a ghost of a bullet materializes behind the one fired from his mythril revolver. They bite into the statue's upper arm and demolish it.

He sacrifices 3 HP for the pheonix quartz bullet regenerating, and 1 HP for the extra life-bullet. He has 5 HP left.

He fires a bullet into himself and enters BULLET TIIIME
<note that the enigma bullet is gone>
He has BULLET TIIIME for the next round, for two shots. The target automatically rolls a [1] on their defense roll.


Rod notices that there is a recently clobbered monk sitting on Arianna. He can't help her up.


Kahn 2 cannot cancel the hex! D:
He frantically scratches his back as he tries to think of a better way. Hmm. Maybe a banana will help his thinking. 3 He finds no bananas.


Arianna 4,1,5= 10 HP regained. She is brought back from the brink of death.


Azastre 6->1 fails to heal Arianna. 2 In fact, he somehow casts Lucid Harming.

1,1,5 = 7 damage to Arianna.

Good thing it didn't work that well ...

Popo is swinging her legs carefree on the stairs above the statue, and Gretel is sneaking up on the goblin.
