Houbert strides over to the malachite button, and looks at Jack."I wouldn't use your powers in here, if only to save your strength to when we'll really need them. I'll press it instead." He said the word Powers with disdain. Maybe if he had powers, he would of been able to save his parents...

"If you are done bickering, let us choose!" Rod waits for confirmation from the others at the Lapis Lazuli button. Once they signal that they are ready, he stomps down hard on the Red Coral button.

Once Ire is done checking for traps, and assuming she doesn't find any. Kahn presses the Lapis Lazuli button.

With the horrid shriek of rock grinding, a spiral staircase corkscrews out of the ceiling into the center of the room. It is made of granite, and is smoothed and engraved masterfully. The sterling silver rails are wrought with the best handicraft, while each step's edge has a line of quartz crystals to prevent slipping.

Ascend to floor 2?

The second floor is the same shape as the first. Large cubes made of ebony float just above the ground. Each side is set with some blue gem cut in an imperial design. The eleven cubes are randomly spread throughout the floor, and none are within 3 feet of the walls. The mosaic in the floor depicts many small dragon humans and drakes flying around, ripping the heads off of other humanoids.

note : buying equipment really helps with your chances of survival . . .

Houbert Waits for the others to go up first before going up himself. While ascending, Houbert Rips The silver and quarts out from where they were, then makes some armour out of them.

Ascend, And make Armour out of the metals in the stairway!
(Like that? Do we have to loot actual Weapons, or do we make them ourselves?)

Appearance: Ire is a tall woman with jet black hair that falls to shoulder length, tied in a braid. She has dark brown eyes that match her light complexion. She is garbed in a light grey cloak with leather armor underneath.
Background: Known to be a deviant person, Ire was brought up with knowledge of the law and it's rapport with the common people. Living her life as a lone vigilante in the prime cities, stopping would-be-muggers and thieves, she has learned most of her own skills from the people she tracks.

Ironically, she has never taken a life nor stolen without repaying back, in anyway whatsoever.

Due to all this, she is partly allergic to rope.
