Noticing Azastre tensing up, Rod strolls over and peers through the window. He pats the boy on the shoulder reassuringly, "Ease up, Azastre. She's on the cage, not inside of it. This is probably her house."

Rod raises his voice enough to be heard, addressing the girl, "Sorry about your window, my companion here was a bit careless. Do you live here?"

((@Flying Dice: What? Meta much? :P))

Azastre points out to Arianna the whole thing is probably a trap before moving on to do other stuff.

Azastre tries to fuse the xgold +0/-4 bulletx and the -5/-10 bullet into something better.

Arianna pursed her lips before kneeling to be more at Popo's level.

"My name is Arianna, death knight and seeker of the tower," she said, trying to sound warm and putting a hand on Popo's shoulder. "You probably don't need to be scared of me unless you cross me somehow," she added, attempting to smile warmly as well.

"Now Popo, what exactly is it you do here? It looks like you're an alchemist of some sort, is that correct? What are you working on? What can you do? Also, there was a mouse outside your door earlier, do you get many mice around here, or was that perhaps a pet?"

She turned to Azastre for a moment, waving him off with a "You worry too much" expression.

Diplomacy girl, ask more questions.

"Hey, m'names Ace, and I've got a few questions for you, like what's with the whole candy thing? Also, how did you survive in this tower?"

((@Flying Dice: What? Meta much? :P))
((Not too terribly. Rod was already up there, and Azastre hasn't been exactly the most subtle of characters. Probably because of the giant robot.  :P

Besides, Rod knows good sidekick material when he sees it, and a redheaded kid possibly with magic powers to turn enemies into candy is kickass. Though the whole place is probably a trap.))

((That star. :3))

"Mmph, if only I had that Dragon-fire thrower..." Ire stared longingly at the mounds of chocolate around her, still wishing for that taste in her mouth to stay.

It reminded her of the exceptionally rare times she had to visit the local stores without being chased by the guards. She was glad to have connections with the shopkeepers in helping them with 'security'. But that was the past, anyway.

"Quite hard...meh, nobody will notice."

Break off another piece of that white chocolate AND the other chocolate for the road! (Heh) Store it, or them, away in a safe, cool place in my inventory!

She then let the star go free to wherever it was meant to be near her. Her thoughts sounding like a mental squee as she viewed the cute little thing.

The simple joys.

Jog next to the rest and listen in on the conversation at the house.

"Hey Arianna! Can I call you Ari? How are things going with that evil sword?"

((Circe has always been awesome, not evil. And yeah, we left Zalgo to bleed out, if by "we" you mean the people who were alternating between stabbing and sympathizing with him. Rod just cut him a few times for looking freaky and left it at that.))

Kahn didn't trust the idea of a little girl living in this sort of location by herself and resolved to have nothing to do with what was clearly an evil spirit of some sort. They'd just seen one, why not another, right? Instead he decided to train strength by calmly going a little ways away from the house and doing push-ups.
