Throw moving enemies for at least one tile?
« on: March 26, 2012, 07:21:14 pm »

I absolutely love the wrestling in DF (Even though its a little bit overpowered) but I really don't like the fact that throwing doesn't move your enemy at all, unless you are much bigger then him (A cyclops versus a dwarf is an example of that (produces quite a messy result))
I think that if you are fighting a creature of the same (or smaller) size than you and you have high strength/wrestling skills, you should be able to throw him/her/it for at least one tile (maybe even in a chosen direction) so you can do stuff like throwing people off cliffs and in water

The ability to chuck my foes off of cliffs is one that has eluded me in adventure mode, and I support this.

I'm about 95% certain that the underlying problem is the same for both knockback and throws.
