They can't breed. Oh shit. Wait a sec.

Updated mod so that 038 won't give birth to toads.

That is a great summation of the spirit of SCPs and Dwarves in general...

What would happen if dwarves joined the SCP Foundation?

And how do Class-D's work? Are they just regular people, or their own group of people?

D for "disposable"

Guys... Class-D... as in Class Dwarf....

Rereading SCPs with them using dwarves for Class-Ds... It just changed my whole life... I can never go back...

Aren't most D-classers convicted felons?

OMG...there's a dwarven fortress that sells its felons to the Foundation, and still has tons of felons to ship every month!

I wonder if a more complex transformational syndrome could be added to 682. For example, the eyes could have a layer underneath them that comes out when the eyes are damaged (cf. iron giants) and carries a syndrome that makes more eyes grow (though if 682 could do this, it probably would have done so against 173). Repeat for other body parts. Optional extra: something that is released only when 682 is heated to 12000U. Enables fireballing. I don't think there's anything else in vanilla DF that can simulate 682's ability to use some of the threats it adapts to.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

Adaptational castes? I can do that. I would rather work on SBURBfortress, but oh well.

Just an idle thought. Transformations turn the whole creature into something else as far as I know, so you wouldn't be able to do too many things at once without it being excessively complicated.

My foundation members won't use the smelter for some reason. I've built a laboratory and written blueprints and gave them jobs to make batteries but nothing is happening.

Define "nothing is happening". At what point does nothing happen?

When they make the blueprint for batteries the make it and just stop. Also when I smelt charcoal they take it to the smelter and the job says charging battery.

I would love to, as usual, but I can't.

The job is supposed to end. Do you mean it ends before anything is made?
