How about a toaster monster with the prefstring "for my ability to toast bread." I really thinkadding me to the game would be funny.

I don't think that adding me to the game would be a good idea, since toasters of my variety do not exist in the Dwarf Fortress universe, and since I would have no purpose other than my gimmick (unless Dwarves killed themselves via MAGMA in my presence) I would probably not be worth it.

Engraved on the wall is a superiorly designed image of a Dwarf and a toaster by Bomrek McEngraver. The toaster is laughing. The Dwarf is dead.

I was curious, so I downloaded lastest DF, overwrited your zipfiles, and I got only crashes on World Generation.

What is t he right procedure ?

Is there a pack somewhere with included utilities ?

Oooh, revision on the dr gerald on a segway idea, I honestly don't know if you guys even added it yet, but how about a megabeast that is a generic humanoid that has a spectacular speed, a 'segway' bodypart, and an interaction which it would use CONSTANTLY ([FREE_ACTION]  and [WAIT_PERIOD:1] tokens are a must) to spew out cave-in dust for every one of it's turns for all methods of attack, fleeing, greeting, you name it. The interaction would need the segway bodypart to exist, though I'd suspect it would be a good idea to mod the body materials of our Dr Gerald to be particularly resistant to impact, just enough so that everything he kills isn't himself. [CRAZED] would also be a good idea too, yeah?
