Actually, you can move her, just deconstruct the bed and get dwarves to haul her to another bed in a place that is available for cave-ins.
Though I'm more interested in magma-drinking experiments.

Might be a question you already answered, and might be obvious for some reason, but uh... Why don't you have a hospital?

Whelp, I think it's safe to say it now:

She's a clown. She escaped candyland in hopes of convincing your dwarves that she was their god and coming to lead the entire civilization, but instead they just threw a pick at her and had her mine.

Have her killed.

It could be her plan still to release the HFS with her newly acquired mining skills!

As a matter of fact, she's not once let go of her copper pick.

There is nowhere else I can move her to.

Nowhere.

Might be a question you already answered, and might be obvious for some reason, but uh... Why don't you have a hospital?

That bed you see there, is my hospital.

And I have no water, so my chief medical dwarf refuses to set the bones until they're clean.

There, you see! The real truth can always be ascertained by jumping to barely rational conclusions and drawing in semi-relevant pieces of information and claiming them to be undeniable proof!

What more evidence could we possibly need of this collusion with clowns? My opponents would argue that without all the so-called “facts” we can’t reach any real conclusions, but don’t listen to them. They’d have you get “expert” testimony, and by expert we of course know that they mean the clowns themselves.

Yes, my friend, the other candidates would have you open up candyland itself and unleash it upon this poor nation. Those who represent the “Save Her” party are in fact plotting your downfall as we speak, no doubt whilst they smoke longland grass with the other threats to our people, the elves, and burn the flag. You can’t explain that!

In Armok we trust.

Can't you just cave-in a block of stone upon her and see what happens? Or just cave in the area she is standing into a magma-filled area (or the magma sea) if you must have a solution involving magma.

Now now, there's no need to rush IMMEDIATLY to the fact that she's the bastard offspring of Obok Meatgod and Hollistic Detective. No, what she is is rooted in cold, !!!SCIENCE!!! fact. She's obviously a vampire, give stakes and garlic to the dwarves and prepare her to be encased forever in the walls of the fortress.

We've been over this before.

I cannot cave in anything above her.
Or below her.
For aesthetic reasons.

Instead of making rocks fall onto her, make her fall onto the rocks! Just build an elevated platform with a bridge at the top, have her stand on the bridge then retract the bridge. She will then quickly die upon slamming into the ground and you can deconstruct everything later without any cave-ins.

I underestimated the # of ballistae operators...though I am amazed they hit something, even if it wasn't the target, since the ballista seems to be about as accurate as flinging a brick at a barn from a mile away with a 30 mph crosswind.

I'm vaguely jealous on a level if the map is completely dry, without any ponds o' stagnant water, brooks/rivers o' stagnant water, or caverns with stagnant water.

On the flipside, I'd have to deal with this mess.

Mirrored post

I shall now release one image of what I have been up to.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I think I found water.

She is unconscious, and cannot stand. Can't move her :|

Until I get her wounds treated of course...

I'd also like to add that is why I cannot cave in anything above or below her.

I think I found a solution.

requirements
3 mechanisms
some building materials
a bed set as hospital (so the poor dwarf gets hauled there)

step zero: dump that pick
step one: build bridge as a retractable one
step two: build lever and connect it to bridge
step three: raise bridge
step four: build bed on raised bridge and set on hospital
step five: get the dorf hauled there
step six: PULL THE LEVER

only problem would be ghosts, so you need a witness.

You can't build beds on bridges.

Nevertheless, I have tapped into the oil with an orbital extractor well, and the doc' is now suturing the wounds.

7 Days from now, there will be two levers, one will be pulled, both will have different outcomes for The Dwarf Who Didn't Die.
