I have no death and I must kill things.

Situation:

This Dwarf:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Must die.

Not out of needlessness.

Or Fun.

But mercy.

A mining accident crippled this legendary miner.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And I may be requiring corpses to pile in my chasms.

And if you're wondering why I'm not using useless migrants instead of legendary miners,

It's because I killed them all. And now I'm out of migrants.

So there's her.

Useless, and with no chance of recovery unless I hit the caverns and find water.

Dying of dehydration.

I won't hit the caverns before she dies of dehydration.

A legendary miner is a worthy sacrifice in its own right,

But there's more.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

She's been alive since the beginning of the world. And no, she's not a vampire. She's the result of modifications to the maxage tags, one of the first of her kind.

I like to think the Cult Leaders arranged the cave in, just to "rescue" her for this very occasion.

Now, the problem is,

I don't want this Dwarf to suffer for too long,

And feel the need to kill her quickly.

Problem;

I have no magma.
I have no water (and if I did, I could save her).
I cannot cave in anything above her.
Or below her.
For aesthetic reasons.
I have no hostile creatures to release.
And know of no other way of harming her in the situation presented.
She's unconscious as well.

Bay12, how do I Euthanize her?

No magma?

Im outta ideas.

Edit; You could dig a hole and pit her, its really easy ad does not require many resourses, though be sure to dig it deep enouph, a crippled dwarf at the bottom of a deep hole surrouded by blood ad vomit is kindof depressing.

I was thinking of dropping her down a pit but if she's unconcious and you can't move her... nor can you dig out below her... you might be out of luck.

Just did straight down and build a well over some cave water.

1) abandon the fort
2) start an adventurer
3) find her
4) kill her

You can save her if you want to. Deconstruct her bed (you might also have to forbid the other beds in the fort temporarily) and she will run to get a drink. If you don't reclaim the beds she will even keep working with her broken leg and arm, though eventually infection might set in and kill her (or it might not, she has some resistance to disease).

If you want to kill her anyway, then do the same thing as above then just kill her however you killed all your other migrants.

I cannot do any digging above or below her :(
Same goes with building D:

If you don't reclaim the beds she will even keep working with her broken leg and arm, though eventually infection might set in and kill her (or it might not, she has some resistance to disease).

If you want to kill her anyway, then do the same thing as above then just kill her however you killed all your other migrants.

I did that, she stayed unconscious, lying on the floor in a pool of vomit and blood. I don't think it's helping her pain much :I

1) abandon the fort
2) start an adventurer
3) find her
4) kill her

Abandoning the fort isn't such a good idea - my fort is VERY remote, and is apparently guarded by a lobster Titan that just oh so LOVES eating adventurers. Dickhead.

You could mod the boily bloody thingy of dwarves so that they all explode violently, but you'd lose every dwarf that way, not just her.

1) make a stone stockpile around her, with some random (rare) stone.
2) make sure your other dwarves are nowhere near said stone type
3) mod stone type to explode in a blast of fiery magma gas

Shall begin. Will it be sufficiently lethal?

I'm assuming 10k quantum dumped shale boulders will be sufficient.

Build an upright spear under her using a high quality metal spear, hook it up to a lever, and have a dwarf pull the lever on repeat until she gets sufficiently torn apart.

last time I checked, without modding, a Titan set fire to some barrels of river spirits, which exploded into the faces of a few dwarves. Three out of 5 bled out while they burned, and their facial fat boiled away. The other two barely made it, but did have fireproof faces after that, due to lack of fat.

So I suppose evaporating 10k shale boulders should be lethal enough

Can't build anything beneath her [CREATURE OCCUPYING SITE] and so forth.

And she got hauled to a new bed. Hurray!

Problem is, the dwarf is unconscious. So you can't built a upright spear trap below her, it will get suspended due to 'creature occupying site'

EDIT: ninja'd
