Ah, well, I'm more planning on having a home base. I imagine my various jobs might have me traveling quite a bit, and it isn't like I won't be heading out to do other things now and then.

That and the fact that mine is a paranoid kobold.  You'd have to do something really impressive to get him to trust you.

You can accidentally help him improve his machines with your magic, but that's about the extent of IC aid you can offer Phantom.
