You purchase the blade from the Artifact Dealer, before leaving and walking through the town and to your Uncle's home.

It's late in the evening by time you arrive, so after your greetings, you decide to take advantage of the last hour or so of sunlight by practicing with your new weapon outside.

You manage to get a feel for the weapon, but you find yourself wondering what you'll do now that you've left home...

Deron's thoughts drift back to the headlines he saw on the way back to the apartment- "Willowaire in Danger"; "No help in sight for Willowaire"; "Refugees pouring in from Willowaire as undead threat nears"

"When I fled Elkwich- it seemed that I was leaving my my life behind. The undear army is still out there, and it's menacing Willowaire now. It's all over the papers that they need help, but none is being sent. I may not be much but I can try to keep them from the fate of Elkwich," he says, thinking to himself. He then slapped himself- why would he leave his family? But, after a second of thought, he realized something: he had no purpose. Were he just to stay here, he might as well be an undead for all the energy he'd be putting into life. He had made up his mind.

Freshen up, then repack and take the suitcase downstairs and announce to the family that I'm going to Willowaire to help. Explain the reasons why (above), and apologize. Say my farewells, and then leave for the train station with my parents and purchase a ticket to Willowaire for myself- the parents aren't coming along. Try to get a ticket that's not immediate so you have time to meditate and say your goodbyes to your family for the time being. Take the suitcase and the sword. (The sword goes in the suitcase)
