Damn... Lucia would have to check up on her knowledge of slimes when she got out of here. In the meantime, she continued to stab at it, trying to pierce deeper into the creature.

A) Look into the pit. If there is nothing of interest down there, have my fellow holy warrior pull the left lever and go through the portcullis.

Entering the armory, Varin shouted to his fleeing allies, "Leaving so soon? I don't want to take back this village by myself. Who's with me?"

He looks for an anti-tank rifle of some sort while doing so.

~~~~~~~~~~Varin~Eldan~~~~~~~~~~
"It's your funeral buddy!" One of them shouts, "We can't hold this place against a god damn tank!"
You look around for an Anti-Tank rifle, but there's nothing of the sort, not even adventurer's can get their hands on a weapon like that, let alone civilians.
~~~~~~~~~~Mewlren~the~Holy~~~~~~~~~~

There's nothing in the Pit... Or, nothing that you can see, it's far too dark and going down to see things for yourself probably isn't a good idea.

Before your ally pulls the lever, you notice the sound of footsteps to the West...

A)Pull that Lever!
B)On Second Thought...

~~~~~~~~~~Kairo~Undular~~~~~~~~~~
You lie down, taking cover behind the wall and the body of the Rifleman.
You hear movement in the jungle to the south, spotting a Rebel making his way up towards the Village.
~~~~~~~~~~Kidd~~~~~~~~~~

The first door you open reveals a room filled with tiny, spider-like creatures... Though it's hard to make out exactly what they look like in the darkness, they're all completely still. Towards the center of the room are the remains of another person.

"Well, then, I guess it's your funeral to try to run faster than the tank. I guess if nobody wants to help me out, then you might as well be rebels..." Varin trailed off as he looked around the armory for any kind of anti-tank weapon, including grenades.

(You have no idea how much I wanted to pull a Commissar stunt there. I still want to...)
