Check out the blade shop and see what knives, accessories and misc stuff they have. Then leave and head East.

You follow them into a rather well lit 'Half-Lab' room. There don't appear to be any other ways in and out of the room other than the cavern you just came in through.

The Shotgun-guy hands you a flask of what is presumably water, or at least something to quench your thirst with, and you get a better look at the group. The man with the Shotgun looks to be one of the mercenaries that had been attacking the Lab, The second man appears to be one of the security guards, and the third man appears to be wearing a lab coat of some type, with one of the Security Combat Vests underneath it.
