"The moneys downstairs." He replies as you look around your room for any other weapons. The firefight downstairs grows in intensity as you do so.

"Hurry up! They're probably already inside! What're you lookin' for? Your Wildfire? It's downstairs too - You needed it fixed up, remember?" He says, as two more men enter the room.

"Uncle! They're inside! What're you still doin' up here?!" Lloyd shouts.

"Some kinda G-Men," Lloyd replies as you head out into the hall. "Never seen anyone like them before - They can use magic and they're real deadeyes! They're takin' us down like we're nothin'."

There are three stairways you could take down... The closest leads all the way down to the ground floor but it brings you right down in front of the front doors. There's another a little further away that leads down to the first floor. The third stairway leads down to the First Floor, right near to a storage room. It's the furthest away, but you might be able to grab some stuff from there.
