Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

Can it be smelted?
Idea!
Ignite some lignite floor grates that have the boulders on them!
see what happens.
If it evaporates, you can give those stinking goblins a smell that will make their heart stop beating.

Well, it did occur in a vein...

"This is an accursed mist spear..."

Or, can it be used for strand extraction?

It appears to be a kind of clay. Another embark in another world has fiendish fog available from the embark store under clays. This is oddly consistent.

Grow strawberries on it.

Store wine in barrels made from it. Or make statures and crafts. Actually, if it is a clay, it can be used for making pretty much anything. Well done.

If your mists and fogs are buried in the ground as clay, what do you get when you embark in an evil zone? Do you get drifting clouds of noxious clay that thralls things?

Wait, are you the same C27 that goes on Pooshmler sometimes?

Make weapons of the mist. Nothing demoralizes an enemy more than a weapon that shouldn't even killing them anyway.

Forbid all the other stone and get accursed mist artifacts!

I haven't tested that far, but you're all welcome to it.

I can't find any duplications in the raws.. since I reverted my creature modifications (which had only been deletions of animal-men anyway) the main changes are in entity_default and the rest are pretty easy to track. Nothing is sticking out as obvious.
Check your errorlog.txt - it should tell you if it detects duplicate raws (and other errors - ignore the pathfinding stuff though).

When I ran it in 34.06 the only error that showed up was in a couple of biomes:

*** Error(s) found in the file "data/save/C27region1/raw/objects/plant_standard.txt"
Unrecognized Biome Token: ANY_TROPICAL_CONIFER
Unrecognized Biome Token: ANY_TEMPERATE_CONIFER

I don't think so. It would be quite the hairy situation if he was.
