Hand out the rest of my throwing knives, have the men gather anything they can to throw, and unleash a barrage of thrown items. Once we've thrown stuff at them charge them using the confusion from the barrage to our advantage.
Buffs & Debuffs - Your men are peasants, they have no real combat experience. - 1 to combat rolls. You are a general and you control your men easily. +1 to combat rolls. Slight confusion. First roll makes enemy loses a buff.
[Logic] Due to the "throwing knives" being kitchen knives they do no real damage.
[1] You can't find a lot of anything to throw. The 9 knives annoy your enemy and they meet you head on in a charge.
[5 vs 6] Your men are hurt rather bad by the first regiment but so is the enemy.
[2 vs 2] Another stalemate.
[3 vs 5] This time they break your regiment and only you are left. They quickly surround you and attack.
[5 vs 6] It is a stalemate.
[5 vs 3] Even with being outnumbered you manage to cut down the first regiment of the opposing force and focus on the other.
[4 vs 6] The sheer force of their numbers and their training overwhelm you and you are left fighting for your life. You are badly injured, but [4] you manage to fight as if you aren't.
[4] The three soldiers inside the armory hear fighting inside and break down their own barricade, joining you in the fight. They are all well armed and armored.
Soldier 1's fight: [4 vs 6] He is cut down by several enemies.
Soldier 2's fight: [3 vs 6] This soldier suffers the same fate of the other.
Soldier 3's fight: [6 vs 3] However the last surviving soldier manages to cut own half of the regiment.
Adwarf and Soldier 3's fight: [6 vs 5] The first several attacks end up being parried and you are left to continue fighting. The enemy's armor is badly damaged and it is now useless.
[6 vs 3] Now you manage to defeat the enemy. After cutting down the last opposing soldier you notice your wounds and [6] manage to ignore most of the pain.
Report: Entire peasant regiment destroyed. Only one other soldier left besides you, adwarf. Armory has been recovered. There is enough armor and weapons to completely rearm your unarmed soldiers in the messhall. Crossbows are in there as well.
"Alright, regiment 1, Help rebuild the barricade! Use the enemies dead bodies, we want to demoralize them! Anyone got any crossbow skills? We need atleast one person!"
Have regiment 1(Armored and long swords) help with barricade rebuilding, using the enemies corpses if need be. Find someone with crossbow skill and equip them with it.
OOC: I might be out for a few hours, so it will be a little before i post.
[3] You manage to create a weak barricade where the doors were, since the doors were pushed down in the last attack you can no longer reinforce the doors to slow the enemy further.
[6] You manage to find a peasant who says he has experience with using a crossbow, however crossbows are illegal to the general populace and this leaves many people wondering how he got his experience. However this soon proves to be a bad idea.
[6] The peasant you gave the crossbow runs toward the barricade, firing a crossbow bolt which finds itself lodged in your chest. Your armor, however, manages to stop it from reaching your heart you are still injured.
[1] The peasant tries to jump over the barricade however several soldiers grab his arms as he jumps over, pulling him back and pushing him down to the ground.
[6] They stop themselves from killing him and quickly tie him up with some rope. He is placed in the corner by the fireplace. He is gagged and tied to a chair.
Report: Light barricade up. Spy attempted to assassinate John, however armor managed to stop the bolt and he is alive. Spy was captured and tied to a chair for questioning later on. Injury that John sustained is severe and he will eventually bleed out unless it is treated.
