You dial your boss's number into the phone.

'This is Tom Midite's office. I'm not here now, just leave a message.' *Beep*

"Hey Mr. Mid, this is James. I'm sorry about when occurred last night, one of the patients knocked me out and I got disoriented. Anyways, I'll be there soon, bye." You end the message.

You head out the apartments, sharing greetings with everyone you know. You stroll to the office. Nothing seems out of the ordinary, but that is when you notice a crowd. Looking over, you see them staring at armored S.W.A.T. policemen on a road blocked off by yellow tape and cars.

Noting that, you head down a few more blocks until you get to your boss's office. You see the sign: Dalton Private Security: Serving to Protect America. From the outside, it's your normal office building. You step inside to the waiting room. After waving at Barbra the receptionist, you step into the elevator and press the 3 Button. It goes up and opens; you step into your boss's corridor. Finding his room, you open the door. He looks up from his computer.

"James...have seat." He seems oddly composed for the current situation. You sit down in a chair opposite him.

"You know how long I have worked here? 25 years. 25 years, and I have seen nothing like this. I've positioned men to protect prisons, churches, inner-city high risk buildings, mansions, and yet they've always could have handled things. And now this. I send you on low-risk hospital duty, and what happens? My men get stomped by cripples who just got out of fuckin' comatose." He sighs. "And now we have loonies running up and down the streets, and they're going to declare martial law. Well guess what? You're going to find out why." He hands you an I.D. card. "You want that promotion? Go to the area on lockdown on Billington St., the one with all the cops, you had to have seen it when you came here. That I.D.'s gonna' give you access in. Find out what's going on. Before you go, head to the Armory on the 2nd floor and get some riot armor. And a new gun, pistols are piss poor against crowds of loonies."

Tell him were on it and we will try to solve this as best we can. Go to the 2nd floor and go get the gear we are meant to take and then head to Billington St. like were supossed to. Help capture the other "loonies" with the guys who are already there.

"You got it chief." You hastily salute and exit. You head out, to the elevator, and down to the 2nd floor. You see several rooms filled with all sorts of filing cabinets and shelves. Soon enough a door is labeled Armory. You step inside, and see rows of various weaponry and armor all on display. After marveling at it, you snatch up an M4 Assault Rifle, and put on some Riot Armor. You look over in the mirror, and see you look a lot like the S.W.A.T. people.

You leave the building and head to Billington St. Once you get there, the crowd parts a little for you. You step up to the S.W.A.T. officers. "I'm here from Dalton Sec. I'm supposed to go with you guys." You hand over your I.D. An veteran officer with emblems on his chest armor inspects it. "Yep, your with us, James Thompson. I'm Captain Pierre." He stretches saying your name out a little bit. "Alpha team, let's go!" He starts to move down the street, with you and several officers following.

You make your way down Billington St. The street is usually bustling, being in the hub of downtown and all, but now it's eerily deserted. One young officer mutters, "Man, this is creepy....hey, does this place seem more...red to you guys?" All of the officers look around. You do to. Nothing is incredibly out of place red, but he is right, everything in this street seems to be emitting a red hue or glow. "Just keep moving boys," says Captain Pierre.

You all march down the street, until you all see something. A man, running at you. Every gun goes up instantly. Captain Pierre yells, "This is the Sharence Village S.W.A.T. team! Stand down or we will open fire!" The man just roars a beastly roar as he runs at all of you with an animalistic gait. As he comes closer, you see parts of his body are broken and torn, and he has bleeding wounds at various parts of his body. You notice his wounds are the same color of the material you used when you absorbed James Thompson.

The officers open fire, and he goes down in an instant, falling to the ground. One officers exclaims "Jesus Christ! We're dealing with fucking zombies!" Captain Pierre lets out a small chuckle. "Don't be ridiculous, besides, there's no way we're dealing with zombies." In a quieter, more uneasy voice Pierre adds, "Besides....zombies can't run......" Everyone and everything goes deathly quiet as he says this. The silence is only temporary, and soon you all hear roars and see more disfigured people coming down the isle. Pierre yells, "OPEN FIRE!"

Start shooting at the "loonies" and prepare to get out of there in an instant. Dont retreat until either A: The loonies kill more than 2 men or B: Captain Pierre dies. If we hold them and win, stay close to the captain and dont give hint of anything.

You hoist up your M4 and begin firing bursts into the crowd. The first wave of the loonies go down, but as your group starts to reload, the second wave has already replaced their ranks. Unfortunately, James Thompson was more a pistol guy, and your accuracy with your assault rifle isn't nearly what you hoped it to be.

As you replace the clip, your enhanced senses tell you that a large piece of debris is coming at you. You instantly drop prone to the ground. One of the officers yells, "What are you do-!" Before you see a car pass over you and smash into several officers, and you hear grunts and screams. Looking in the direction the car came from, you see a hulking mass that's bigger, and faster than the loonies you had been shooting at. It shoves it's smaller counterparts out of the way, letting out a sound somewhere between the cry of a gorilla, a bear, a lion and a man.

Captain Pierre lowers his gun for a second. "It's-, it's like a devil. Sweet mother of God." He raises his gun again, and starts muttering the Lord's Prayer.

Say fuck it and Use your powers to take the beast down. At all costs, we must leave no witness, we are being overrun and we must kill, kill, kill.

As the S.W.A.T. team takes the loonies on, the beast continues charging and getting closer. You can see it clearly: a huge, pale humanoid creature with claws and a large, impish head. The S.W.A.T. officers begin to panic, causing their gunfire to become, less and less effective.

Given the opportunity due to the chaos, you drop your rifle attack Captain Pierre. He seems confused, but then you slam your fist into his chest, getting it lodged deep inside. His face is one of absolute horror, as the tendrils reappear on your body and begin absorbing the dissipating body of the S.W.A.T. captain.

As you absorb him, you get his memories!

----------

"...And that's all you need to know once you get onto Billington Street. Just one last thing Captain, be on the lookout for Alex Rayne, an escaped patient from the hospital. He is a Caucasian, black-haired teenager last seen in a black hoodie. He is extremely dangerous."

"Roger. But what makes this Alex kid dangerous? Is he armed?"

"Good luck." *Click*

"Commander? Commander?!...Damnit."

----------

You zone back into reality. You feel scruffier with the sensation of a mustache. Your hands clutch a Relles G8 Carbine. Only one of the other officers noticed the absorption, and soon enough the loonies drive over him in a wall of flesh. Thinking you should leave no survivors, you begin discharging your weapon into the other officers. They don't have time to fire back, the confusion and chaos makes them susceptible to gunfire.

As you dispatch of the last of them, the huge humanoid rears it's head at you. You bash some minor loonies out of the way and then fire your Carbine at it, but it seems generally ineffective, not stopping the monster from moving towards you. You toss the Carbine aside, and confront the monster with your body. You lunge at it, punching it in the torso, face, groin and legs. Just as you realize your attacks aren't very effective either, the creature swipes at you, knocking you several feet away.

You flip through the air and land your feet, slightly hurt. You know it's going to take more than brute strength to fight this one.

Alex currently has no specialized powers. Here's the process:

1. Alex kills/consumes stuff, gets AP.
2. AP gets distributed into his attributes.
3. After reaching a certain level in an attribute, powers are unlocked.

So we have an AP point, right? If we do, add it to Agility, we need alot of speed to kill this beast. Were faster than him i assume, so we should try wrapping around him and attacking his back, try climbing on him too and shooting him in the back of the head.
