I sent in my backstory thatkid. Is it okay?

Also is that one fan setting, Genius the something, potentially going to be in this game?
Haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet.

As for Genius?
Hahahahahahahahahaha
No.
Not all homebrew/fandom work is shit. Genius is shit.

...

:'(

Just kidding. I'll get on that backstory!

My apologies if you're a fan of genius.

It just...does not fit the theme of WoD in any way whatsoever, and takes over the job of so many other splats it's ridiculous. Nevermind the fact that its two or three fans on the White Wolf forum find a reason to bring it into every thread ("Oh, you're trying to do something with a mage? I don't know how you feel about fanmade work, but Genius can do that so much better!")

I just have a general aversion to it. Even that one Princess: The Glistening thing is better, in my mind, at this point.

I'm supposed to be at work right now, but instead I'm sitting in a lobby behind an auditorium.
So...uh..."whenever I have the free time to be" is not right now.

Which, topically, is why I don't have a post up yet.  :P

Hey, Simple, your backstory was a little blocky, which made it hard for me to quickly skim through whenever I needed to doublecheck a fact whilst constructing your current arc.
So here's a cleaned up version

Quote
Frank is a tall, thin man that cannot seem to be able to stop himself from squinting all the time. His hair is reddish-brown and he looks like he hasn’t shaved for a week. If he's not wearing his gray driving suit he wears slightly faded jeans and a shirt with an engine logo.

Frank’s whole life was dedicated to cars and motorcycles, at first in his parent’s car workshop where he was always eager to help, then, after his mother's death and an argument with his father about his perspectives on life in his rural hometown, he left and began working as a freelance courier for a one of the big corporations in Boston. Soon, he found out that the job wasn’t enough, both in pay and in challenge, and he turned to delivering less legal goods- illegal drugs, explosives, stolen data and cars, counterfeit cash, and whatever else the client needed to be delivered quickly and discreetly. His record was perfect, even when the cops got involved, and he managed to build quite a few contacts in the local underworld. That is, until the job that changed his life.

His contact seemed a bit nervous about the whole business, but the cash he offered for delivering a small package to a house in the suburbs was too good to pass up. John was smiling at the thought that someone was stupid enough to pay so much for delivering what seemed to be an ordinary book. His mood quickly took a turn for the worse when he entered to find the inhabitants of the house ripped to shreds and scattered around the area. On top of that, the sound of sirens announced the arrival of the police just outside. While he managed to escape, what he learned later was even more disconcerting: his contact had been found dead in his own apartment, and his own house had been turned upside down by burglars. The thing that concerned him the most was that he couldn't remember what happened to the mysterious book after he walked into that house.

Bereft of any reliable contacts in the underworld and no longer safe within his own home, he turned his life over to the hands of fate. The opportunity to find out the truth of what happened or a way to get rich quickly- whichever comes first, Frank will not let it pass him.

I'd like to join this. Here is my sheet. Please point out anything I need to modify.
Also, what is the dice mod for a hunting bow? Cause I know that still needs to go in.

Mcclay, I'm not even going to make an attempt to read your post for the following reasons:

1. You know by now that I put a lot of stress on at least trying to spell things correctly. (I mean, hell, I'll be the first to say that there is at least one update riddled with spelling errors. But at least put the effort in, yeah?)
2. Formatting. It's ugly, plain and simple. I mean, your OOC was not only almost indistinguishable from the IC, but you made not attempt to even note where it ends.
3. If you can somehow manage to hit space enough times to emulate an indent, you can do the above two.

I realize you're apparently using a very small keyboard. Let me remind you why this is not an excuse: I am writing this from an iPod touch. Just to prove a point. (And I have to question your story, anyways. At first you said you were on a kindle, then an e-reader, and then a netbook. Which is it?)
And before you tell me that you can't edit a post and will need to clutter the thread with another: You most certainly can. If you can click a link of any kind (which you undoubtedly can), you can click the "edit" button. In fact, you can probably even click the button for italics, but if not there's nothing stopping you from using the BBCode for italics which I will helpfully show you below.
Code: [Select]
[i]text[/i]
I normally don't have endless bounds of patience, considering that I had to make your character sheet for you, even after three iterations of the backstory, I'm surprised I haven't just thrown my hands up by now. Please clean up your act.

That's better, thanks.

In the future, a little bit of effort can go a long way.
