Jenny continued her search.

(I don't think I'll be able to get back over there in time to do anything, so I'm hoping to luck out here. >.>)

Desmond laid on his back for a moment, seeing a few cartoon birds whirl over his head. Then he got up and dusted himself off, still feeling a bit woozy. Well, he wasn't hurt, but it had hurt.

He spoke into his radio, holding it upside down for a second, before turning it around.

~"I'm alright. He's heading back inside the arena. Corner him."~

He shook his head again, and began wading through the small knot of crowd.

"Excuse me, Hero business..pardon me, Ma'am..."

Action: Try to straighten myself out-give information on the assassins current location to allies.

Push myself through the crowd-without harming anyone, obviously-and continue pursuit!

Ires uses the energy given to her from Lisa to heal her cut!

Ires smiled at the bodyguards and subtly warned them of an impending attack on the Mayor and for them to keep alert for people with mundane sniper rifles, not from people with cliched masks and nice suits like she was wearing. No.

Edging back, she replied: "Got it, heading to intercept."

Then, Ires goes off and searches for any entry points the assassin may take into the arena.

And waits until he gets near then attacks in melee! Or at range, if possible.

"Hey everyone, um. There's a spider in the crowd! Run!"

Re: Roll to Be Heroic - Turn Fifty-Seven! In which Jenny finds a body.

Turn fifty-seven!

Agent Fortmüller stopped as his suit began making ominous noises, to think and plan ahead.  [4] Well, the sniper himself probably didn't know where he was heading, besides "away from the superheroes".  But he was more or less clear at the moment, so he would probably be heading to a window to prepare for his shot.  Well, there were a lot of windows on the facade, but it was a start.  Nicholas found the stairs back inside the building and began a sweep of the area.  [hidden search check] He heard a noise behind him, spun, and fired a dart!  The janitor collapsed.
Agent Conners followed Nicholas down, turning her radio to the encrypted police channel and reporting the situation.
"This is Agent Conners, we have spotted the sniper and are in pursuit!  All police outside the arena are to block off all exits, both above ground and under ground ASAP to prevent his escape.  Be aware, he is armed and dangerous, over."
"Understood, Agent Conners.  We've set up a perimeter, nobody's getting away in a block in each direction."
She switched to her team's channel.
"Steel Wall, are you ok down there?  I hope you guys have a plan, cause we need to catch this guy soon before he tries something.  I'm heading down to intercept."
"I'm alright.  He's heading back inside the arena.  Corner him."
Ires' voice joined in.  "Got it, heading to intercept."
She helped Nicholas sweep the area and move the janitor out of the way, [hidden search check] and continued searching the smaller areas that the battle suit couldn't reach.  Opening a closet, she spotted someone hiding behind a pile of cleaning supplies.
Agent Maxwell continued searching the other building, [hidden search check] finding a decaying corpse!
...on closer inspection, just a sleeping homeless man who hadn't showered in a while.
Agent Green got up, shook the stars out of his head, and began pushing through the still-gathering crowd.
"Excuse me, Hero business... pardon me, Ma'am..."
He entered the building, again, and headed up to where Nicholas and Lisa were.
Agent Reon watched as her cut began healing, almost before her eyes.  In just a minute all that was visible was a bruise.
She smiled at the bodyguards, who nodded respectfully back at her, and subtly made gun motions at them, pointing at her mask and shaking her head.  They stared.  She turned and headed inside the arena, following Desmond, and tried dispersing the still-thickening crowd with a warning about a spider.  [1+1] Somebody yelled back at her, "I ain't afraid of no spider!" so she just kept pushing her way through the crowd.

Nicholas keeps searching for the would-be assassin, aiming for a non-lethal takedown if the man is found. Providing Connners help if needed.

Jenny, feeling somewhat foolish, decided to do her best Spider-Man impression and grapnel over to the opposite building, preferably ending the swing by going through a window rather than directly into a wall.

(And if I fail, at least I'll be keeping the tradition of female superheroes faceplanting into walls at top speed alive. :P)

Lisa acted for a moment that she didn't see this person, before lunging forward and grabbing them and draging them out, draining them into exhaustion before demanding to know why they were there and their identity. IF it's not our guy, escort them to the stairs and tell them to go down, notifying my team. IF it is, drain him unconcious and notify team.

Continue search based on information gleaned from teammates and the Assassin's position.

Try to disperse the crown into safe, grouped particles. Through Persuasion!

Re: Roll to Be Heroic - Turn Fifty-Eight! In which Lisa gets sapped.

Fifty-eighth turn!

Agent Fortmüller moved in carefully to Lisa's position, still searching but ready to assist her if it turned out she'd found the sniper.  [hidden search check] He wandered around where Lisa had reported seeing somebody for a few minutes before giving up, figuring he'd gotten lost.  Desmond came up the stairs, so Nicholas told him that Lisa had told him that she'd found someone.
Agent Maxwell decided her building was clear and got out onto a balcony.  "How does Spider-Man do this...?"  After a moment of looking for something to swing from, she swung her grapnel out, [3+1] attaching it to a particularly prominent flagpole, and jumped, swinging across the street, rebounding lightly off the wall and landing on the ground.
Agent Green entered the arena and headed up the stairs, meeting face-to-face with Nicholas, who told him that Lisa had told him that she'd found someone.  He searched the area too, [hidden search check] but only found a few locked doors.
Agent Conners walked nonchalantly into the closet for a couple of seconds before lunging forward and grabbing... the mop.  "I can't believe I fell for that..."
Behind her, the door shut and locked silently.  The assassin dropped down from the ceiling, walked up behind the distracted agent, and (2+1+1) hit her across the back of the head with a blackjack, knocking her out cold.
"Sorry about this... it's nothing personal, I just can't let you get in the way of my contract."
The man left Lisa alone but unrestrained in the locked room as he pulled open a vent and left.
Agent Reon tried again to disperse the crowd.  "Wait, it wasn't a spider.  It was a bunny rabbit!  With...teeth!  The white kind!"  [5+1] "Big, pointy teeth?"  The crowd dispersed, screaming.  Ires sighed and walked into the building, a few people bumping into her.  The panic died down as people realized exactly what had just been said.

"Hm, I wonder if they watched Monty Python..." Ires wondered as she walked into the arena.

Now...the roof, the closest way to the roof without energy was the elevator.

The other way, was the stairs.

An outer way was the fire exit.

. . .

Free Running > Roof! Through the most inconspicuous way possible!

Listen for any suspicious sounds while on my way up.

Nicholas frowns. They are just wasting too much time while the assassin is escaping. They need a way to search the whole building, and fast.
"Where is each one of you?"

He tries to use any metal extension from the suit as a stethoscope, hightening the suit's abilities to check for vibrations across the building. If it works, he warns the rest of the squad to where the assassin is going. If it fails, he goes after Lisa.
