Would any of you guys who got DF running on a mac mind posting a writeup about it here or the wiki?  I'm getting errors trying to run it through darWINE involving thigs like

@alex_n: I concur with Frobozz on this. It's better to write it portably right from the start, but failing that, it's better to port early and then continue writing portable than to - knowlingly or otherwise - bind the game to one OS and then face a Herculean task in porting it.

@Gimpyjoe: this appears to be a DarWINE issue, not a Dwarf Fortress specific one; this thread has a discussion of it but no solution. It's probably fixable based on that info if you're building from source, though.
