((You guys have 5000 Credits, Elite crew Members can cost anywhere between 300-500 Credits))

After bartering for awhile with Alexander "The Great" Ford he eventually agrees on a sum of 420 Credits to hire him out indefinitely.


Now with that out of the way you decide to actually DO something.

You take off for a second time to hunt down some Bandits.

After Cruising around the planets local area for a few hours your sensors pick up a Pirate Hound Class Attack Frigate accompanied by a wing of Talon Class Interceptor Fighters docked on the Hull of the Hound.

((NATURAL 20!))
They seem to have been in a conflict recently and shows the signs of heavy battle damage, as well as that it seems their sensors are very short range and haven't detected you yet. Currently they are drifting while preforming repairs to their frigate and fighters.

What do you do?

It'd kinda help if other people would offer suggestions on what to do...

Doesn't make for much of a forum game if its only the OP and one other person actually doing anything in the thread.

Postponing any actions until 3-6 suggestions on what to do are made. By different people. Unless that results in death of my forum game.

When you get into range of their sensors the remaining crewmen on top of the Hounds Hull scramble inside.

When they accept the video feed of you in the (albeit small) bridge of your ship their Captain immediately starts into a story about how they were ambushed by a ship called "The Black Daemon".
You disregard this obviously false story and fire a few shots across the bow of their ship passing within 10 Meters of their Hull while demanding unconditional surrender, the Captain clearly astonished by this amazing display of accuracy starts begging for mercy from you. Happily obliging you board their Hound, with your squad of Marines with [You didn't name the Marine captain!] as your bodyguard.

After knocking out all the crew of the ship you and your Marines go into the cargo hold of the ship, finding: 17 Units of Supplies, 28 Units of Fuel, 2 Vulcan Cannons (and one dismantled one), 1 Small Frigate-mountable Railgun and 14 Slaves in cages (3 to a cage).


What items do you take and what items do you leave? What will the fate of the Pirates be? Will you add the Hound to your fleet?

Name the marine Lance Corporal Jayne Wallis. Let's take control of thiss vessel, lock up the bandits, after relieving them of their weapons, (I assume we have a brig) free the slaves, take all of it. We'll free the slaves, turn in the bandits, and get repaired at the station. Can we tow or shunt the ship back with us or do we have to travel at it's speed?

After relieving the Bandits of everything of value on their ship you take then aboard, your crew jury rig a small jail cell in your cargo hold to supplement your small brig.

When freeing the Slaves they all give thanks in the extreme, while attempting to pay your for freeing them with a few credits they managed to hide on them. You refuse, having no idea where they hid the Credits and not wanting to know.

After deciding to tow the Bandits Hound back to the Hegemony Station you link up a grav amplifier to the Hound and start the somewhat longer journey back to the Station.

On the way an asteroid storm pelts both your ships and the fighters docked on the Hound, you manage to shield your ship from the worst of it but unfortunately the Hound doesn't have a shield and take another beating way too soon after whatever battle it was in before.
After weathering that storm your crew wants to see how extensive the damage was to your ship, the Hound and the fighters docked on the Hound

Have the crew look over the hound. Let's try and get it fixed up.

Take the slaves to the local police force and hand them off to them. Tell them about the bandits you have locked up in your bay, if they want to come and check for bounties or just take them off our hands.

Get reward.

Check hound's ship number to ships stolen recently. Maybe we can turn it in.
