Grates. I am so angry at grates.

Every so often every grate in my fort is deconstructed. Some of these grates are 20z away from each other. They are not being mass dumped. Why would this happen? I've got grates at the bottom of waterfalls, grates at the top of waterfalls, and grates for fishing through over a river.

This fort is the anti-grate.

Do you have angry dwarves running around anywhere? They could be tantruming and knocking stuff over/destroying building. Another thing that might be causing it is tamed building destroyers. I noticed in 31.25 that sometimes my tamed giant cave spiders would knock over statues for no apparent reason. I never noticed other tamed building destroyers doing this, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was possible.

Is there a reason you couldn't put this in your other thread where people were already discussing and thinking about the issue you're having?
