Yep. I've only seen them once, but they have had quite a lasting effect on me. Namely, I couldn't stop laughing for around a minute, and I still giggle when I try to picture them, flitting about.

I imagine them cooing all over each other like something horrible from a disney movie.

(Lovebirds are called that, because the pairs groom each other obcessively.)

I found these once, they hovered near my fort entrance while I wasted dozens of stacks of bolts shooting them out of the sky.

actually, lovebirds ive been around in the past have made more of an "ear piercing shriek" than a cooing

Just the other day I got my thank you cartoon drawing from toady and three Toe.  It has a peach-faced lovebirdman meeting a dwarf.  He's all "Hey, Whassup?" looking and the dwarf looks like "buh?"  It's just adorable!  Getting it framed soon as I can.
