Building up a squad of guys from nothing and building them into legendary swordsmen/ what ever weapon of choice.

also the great damage system where limbs are crippled

I'm getting more hyped about Kenshi. Mainly, the squad system, custom stuff and the buildup of scale interests me. It is the type of game that, in a way, I wish Elemental had been; something where you start as a lonely hero and end up reaching 4X scale of things.

Demise, yes thats what I see when I sleep. Or would be if I was sleeping and note entering to win a copy of Demise.

Feature: Multiclassing. Disgaea let you go to 9999 in one class. Seems Demise can go 9 races, 12 guilds, maximum level 999 PER GUILD you join, supposedly increased to 1499 in Ascension portion. Bring it on! ( ^ w^)

Devil Whiskey's Elementalist class is fun to play and offers the chance to Master of the 4 elements (hydro, pyro, aero, & el dirto..earthy-oh?), which is a fun approach to using magic--almost alchemical. Pyro is a good one to start with as it tends to have the best attack spells, not to mention the infamous BLLI. ;)

Well no. Neutral theives are the ones who generally do it to survive and do not actually wish to cause harm. (like the vast majority of thieves in real life).

If anything True Neutral (or Chaotic Neutral) seems like the natural alignment for a thief of survival.
