Cardinal Quest : Played the demo on kongregate, one of the few rogue-like that I didn't die on first level and enjoy without having frustration/shock/trauma beforehand.

It sort of got ruined for me once I found the optimal strategy.

A lot of abilities are basically outright useless, mostly buffs. Oddly enough inspite saying "The rogue is the toughest" I actually find him much easier then the warrior.

Casual rouge-like for some short session is good fun too. Looks like the game need some balancing but the pixel graphics looks good.
That said I do enjoy dungeons of dredmor, first time I died only realized I started a hardcore character  ;D and wondered how come I can't load a save game.. lol

Kenshi

I love the idea of starting with a rag-tag group of mercs and slowly building them into a well tuned combat force. The setting seems perfect for this kind of game as well, the post-apocalyptic desert looks like loads of fun to explore and I love the idea of eventually being able to build a fort to base yourself out of.

Kenshi doesn't look like it holds your hand at all. That's great.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

Devil Whiskey. Brings me back to the good olden days of my youth with Amiga and C128.

Looks like modernised Bard's Tale game. The Art looks really nice.

Heh Devil Whiskey certainly looks nostalgic. I put a lot of hours in the early Wizardry serie, Phantasie III and other similar games. So perhaps playing DW would regress me back to childhood? :P

Looks like many people want Kenshi.

I do too. I like the advanced wounds and medic/healing system and we need more games in which your characters can become wounded or die because of your actions. It makes you care more about them.

Sort of reminds me how in the original Fallout (or fallout 2 or Tactics I forget) you can actually get your tongue taken out somehow... and at that point you might as well restart the game because it just became unwinnable.

@Neonovik "Ouch!!!"   But you're right about the website.  Have removed the background and it is much clearer  :P
Been working on Ascension as the priority, hence lots of website neglect ... don't enter me!  Just responding.
