This is a story I have decided to do because I am tired of adventuring. I created a peasant character, and have decided to stay in one town for all of this peasant's life.
This is his story. Enjoy.


Day 1: I have decided, despite my father's constant efforts to get me into adventuring, to stay home. I actually *like* tending to the ducks, chickens, and goats in the yard. I *like* the squabbling merchants in the town square. You couldn't get me to move a millimetre from where I am sitting right now. At home. In my nice, cozy chair. So that's what I'm going to do. I will get hungry, though, so I will have to go to a store sometimes. I live in Halrakbin, "Noblehides" if you speak the old language. My hide is certainly noble, and I'm not going to sully it with blood going off on some wild goose chase for some bandit I've never even heard of. So let the demons come. Let the animal men rise from the sewers! Let fire rain from the sky, for all I care. I'm staying right here.

Today I went to see my friend Cheshshed, the trader. She's a nice guy when you get to know him. Kind of spooky, though. Her religion is based off of silence, so she's normally pretty quiet. She owns the leather shop beside my house, where she sells things like loincloths with pictures on them. I mean, seriously. Who would want to buy that? Anyway, that's my diary entry for today, I hope you like it.

so how will you deal with the lack of füd and drinks? will he slowly sell his clothes to feed himslef until he has nothing less? will he fight downtown bogeymen one night where he was late? will he throw himself to the temple to desacrate it and hope to be a vampire?

Day 2: I decided to meet our so-called leader, but on the way to his house, I was sidetracked by a trail of corpses leading around the building. I mean, I don't want to get mixed up in anything, but there might be a reward for finding who killed all these people! Following the trail, I saw a small unguarded door on the side of the leader's house. I didn't see any other corpses, so I crept inside. A large staircase rose up through the ivory-coloured interior of the building. Walking upwards, I saw a guard leaning over the side of the castle, his face grim. I crept up behind him and spoke. "Hello! My name is Thuthu, what's yours?" The guard seemed startled. "Erm, Um... What are you doing here, peasant? I didn't think you were allowed up here..." I decided to leave at this point. I don't want to break any rules, you know. I walked into the fortress main doors, and walked straight into the "law-giver" I greeted him, and asked about his job. He told me some strange tale about how he was once a farmer, and I found it hard not to yawn.

Later, I walked back home, thinking of the trail of corpses. What could have caused it? Why did the "law-giver" tell me about being a farmer? Why am I here? Why did Armok decide to create me? Why-? As I crept into bed, the questions disappeared into the fog of sleep.
