Looking through the list of justice dispensed by my Hammerer, 'Brick Fingers' Monomotung, it occurred to me that the only use Hammerers get in well-managed forts is to put vampires down.

If that's how it's gonna be, someone should really mod in a preferred weapon for Hammerers - WOODEN STAKES.  While we're at it, we may as well mod Hammerers to be properly titled "Vampire Hunter."

Just a thought, anyway.

Toady should make unhappy dorfs get in fights with people they have grudges with so the hammerer has so more fun to dispense. Another reason to keep the dorfs busy so they don't mingle, form cliques and create bloodlines with bad blood between different groups of dorfs.

Ha, I condemn mine to wander the founder's catacombs for all eternity. Sometimes I wish they could feed on animals, then I could throw in hordes of cute puppies just so they can be violently slaughtered and drained. I guess the legendary plant gatherers and great trackers will have to do...

This kind-of already happens.  The first part, anyway.  They're call Tantrum Spirals.

I shove all my vampires into a single, small room with a really nice door. They just stand there and talk to each other for years about this AMAZING door they see. I have 5 ecstatic vampire just chilling, talking, admiring.

Only problem is the game keep trying to make on of the them mayor....

you can change the hammerer title and weapon in the entity file. then mod in stakes and give vamps material weaknesses!
