Raptoranguish, a succession game
« on: March 19, 2012, 09:15:52 pm »

This was actually started by dhKorena at my house, but he neglected to document his turn
For the moment, the two of us are just going to pass it back and forth.
Now, onto the fun part of the story!

Initial reactions:
I have arrived at this fortress after quite a bit of labourious travel.

The road was quite unpleasant.  Who would settle in this evil mountain range devoid of vegetation and most forms of life.

To make matters worse, the previous overseer was completely incompetent, failing to even designate rooms for the nobility.
We seem to be fine on stocks, though I haven't the faintest idea what we really have since the bookkeeper has had no real experience at all.
On top of that, a full 75% of the inhabitants are unemployed at the moment.  I shall order the immediate construction of additional offices and workshops.

I have also decided to commission a couple of cages to deal with the infestation of (untrained) dogs and puppies.

16th Slate:

I've gotten the basic industries running smoothly, we have all of the things we lacked previously.

I have begun to dig deeper, hoping to strike the caverns before autumn.  We have just received another wave of migrants.

I fear we are being overrun with mediocre weaponsmiths and farmers.  The military will not want for fresh blood.
