In the spirit of my Anarchy Unlimited Scifi RP, I've decided to go back to my anarchistic roots and start a proper LCS Let's Play.

A few stats:

Nightmare Mode, Thief-Agility Leader Build, 'Dwarfing'-Friendly! =)

This is my first LCS LP and as such I decided to go for my first-ever Nightmare Mode playthrough. Needless to say, its fucking frustrating! Albeit  irritating, I am enjoying the vastly different gameplay mechanics. =)

Anyway, here's the intro:

January 1st, 2009 – The Birth of Revolution
Lombard Apartments - Trenton, NJ

On this day I am reborn.

    Twenty-four years ago I was birthed into this world, destined for the forced indoctrination every citizen must endure. Without pause, I fled from Arch-Conservative trappings as soon as I could walk. One might wonder why I so strongly opposed the very foundation of my upbringing, as innocent and naïve as I was. To be honest, I still don’t know. Perhaps it was the cold, oppressive manner in which my parents dealt with each other. It may have been the forbidden books I was beaten for possessing, found layered in dust from years spent in the prison of my parent’s attic. Without a doubt, it was influenced by the vacuum I felt between the artificial semblance of perfection required by Arch-Conservative government and the jaded reality of our daily lives. While the state-sponsored propaganda showed 50s-like ‘Golden Era’ smiles and happy families, we struggled to survive as Corporations bled the populace dry while herding us like cattle to the slaughter. New Jersey has become a cesspool of suburban sprawl overshadowed by the industrial machine of Corporate America, polluting everything as we choose to remain blind to their actions. We are slaves to a government to whom we are disposable.

    I say no more! President Carl Villa and his Arch-Conservative scum will not be left unchecked; free to trample upon our liberties and the good name of this once-glorious nation. In the name of my ancestors shall I free this country from the oppressive grasp of tyranny!

    I am Seth Ogden, known as Sentinel. I was once a professional thief, liberating corporations of their ill-gotten gains. With $1,500 in hand and a spirit replete with rage, I unfold my legacy.

So begins a Revolution…

Aye, looking at my guy's health and stats, he's going to be a god damn pushover until I get him juiced up. I'm think I might take a different route than usual and have him be a stealthy behind-the-scenes ninja while his lieutenants do the real fighting. I've never had a character with such low stats, I feel like a strong wind might break him hehe.

The Deathsquads are going to be epically !!FUN!! to encounter... If you'd like to be dwarfed, I'm currently attempting to recruit a full squad.

Heh, looks like a toughie, soon as you can convince a homeless person to join the squad could you dwarf me as a super-caffeinated overactive hobo who's recently discovered a passion for coffee, also he talks like a pirate due to his adoptive gay parents being seamen, of course when they landed ashore and were persecuted he decides to take his revenge on the corrupt government, coffee comes into his plan somewhere but he's forgotten the details. Also call him Clooney

January 7th, 2009
Homeless Shelter

Before one begins sowing the seeds of chaos and despair, he must have the necessary tools to ensure this revolution runs seamlessly. I took a trip to the local Pawn Shop and spent $750 on miscellaneous melee weapons, a guitar, and a M1911 pistol, though unfortunately the oppressive laws prevented me from buying ammunition. After a visit to the local Latte Stand where I was met by nothing less than a group of over-bearing Conservatives and threatened by a group of government officers, I decided to visit Trenton's homeless Shelter. Where better to find angry Liberals in search of revenge and social uplifting from a piss-poor and hopeless background?

Upon entering I was met by a truly odd sight; a 20 year old Mutant, who agreed to stop by the apartment complex later to discuss the ideals of Liberalism. This is only the first of many who would should interest to my cause, and potentially join me.

Upon striking up a conversation about the illegal dumping of nuclear waste, I garnered the attention of an older mutant, most likely more experienced and hardened than his younger counterpart. He too agreed to meet me for coffee and beer later on to discuss the coming revolution. And so it went, with two more mutants, a prostitute, and a crazy homeless guy who's parents were supposedly sailors. This is going to be an interesting night...

It all depends on the style, really. If CCS is taken out early and mercilessly, and the LCS keeps many sleepers to warn them about attacks early + a lab->radio->tv routine, the game is beatable with as few as four people (+sleepers).

But, if you plan on continuing the war against CCS forever, without knocking them out, then color me intrigued and sign me in. Weapon : Katanaaaa!

Is this the latest version or Deon's mod?

Your build has a good chance of survival. High agi means good chance to out run police, good dodge and stealth skills. Put those at 10 and your almost unkillable.

January 12th, 2009.
Trenton Park

Son of a bitch! After realizing that not one of the mutants or transients from the Shelter had the spark of Revolution in their hearts, I took a stroll to the park to clear my mind. As I sat on a bench and took in the sunlight through smog-lined clouds and analyzed the gang symbols sprawled across concrete walls, a Corporate Manager approached me. Sneering down beyond his hawkish nose and business suit, he had the gall to throw trash at me feet and order me to pick it up. Instead, I slipped my brass knuckles from my pocket and proceeded to beat him until he started crying. Suddenly, without any warning, a fireman approached me and fired a flamethrower at me! After being doused in napalm, I managed to run away to the apartment complex. I am afraid I've been heavily burned and may not lived through the week... I am worried I may have to visit the Free Clinic, but if they report me to the Death Squads then I am dead just the same.

Do I chance the Clinic, or try to recruit mutants/transients and hope someone can heal me?
