Any Tips on how to find stealthy necromancer?

Hey, just got back into the swing of fort mode, procrastinated about moving my refuse pile (here it comes) from outside, then got ambushed by a necromancer (or maybe a gang, who knows O.o). Just like the title says, is there any tips to finding stealthed necromancers?
P.S. Legendary +5 Axedwarf loves all the practice he's getting :P ;D

chained war voraceous cave crawlers seem to work pretty well.
