My legendary miners are also my militia, and one of them had both of his legs completely fucked up.

Compound fractures, overlapping fractures, infections out the anus.

He's spent the last 4 years in the hospital, and has been completely healed.

I love my medical dwarves.

One of my dwarves had a busted lung, and my medical dwarf sutured the lung back together and it works.

My newest swordsdwarf just died of infection (better get that soapmakers unsuspended), but in the pile of junk left behind were two foot casts and two arm casts.

At least my dabbling medical staff were trying...
