I gave all my soldiers crossbows with no quivers, as a result of me wanting a crossbow squad.
I didnt know bout the quivers needed, and i didnt think it would afffect the other squads if i changed the uniform.
This resulted in two soldiers bludgeoning a giant toad to death, while only taking a bruise on one of the soldiers.

Remind me to check all squad inventory next time.

I've once equipped a marksdwarf squad with everything but crossbows.

Ah, not many survived ^-^
