I cast my vote for YaK3 as well. I like the idea of starting fresh and maintaining connectivity between the players.

Well, thanks for the heads up Shoot. Sad to see the game in this state.

My character arc was for all intents and purposes forcibly completed in our current game, if I liked it or not-Sercon has expressed to me extreme dislike of continuing in the current atmosphere, and there was bad blood between me and CG regarding me roleplaying, which led to my departure. I obviously can't continue like that.

On the other hand, I'd vote and want to sign up for Yak 3, with a new char.

My suggestions for the next game are for GM's not to attack players and make them leave? Really, if it wasn't said earlier, I left because I felt singled out and humiliated in chat and thread. I understand you were trying to make a point to me-a somewhat valid point, I'll agree-but the way it was done was wrong.

Now, I'm willing to fresh start and not say another word on it, but that's my sticking point.

I vote for a YAK 3.
But could you add some typical factions?
Like a pretty big empire in the East made of Plains.
A land in the Nord with Mountains and some sort of Vikings.
.........
And don't give a discription of all the country's, if a player starts out as a king, he al least can decide what kind of Empire it is and how the culture is.

NOTE: YaK 3, if it happens, will NOT be in the Storm Coast, and may even not be in the same timeline. We need a new continent for a new map. So if you were thinking of playing a distant relative to one of your chars if YaK 3 wins, think again.

I wouldn't mind jumping back to before YAK 1 in the time line, or even going to a new place entirely.

I'd also like more "families" like there's the king, but then the kingdom is broken up into chunks of land belonging to lords and such.  Instead of the oh your a king and have 2 tiny villages you can give to your buds.  I want there to be quite a bit of history already in the world, kinda like game of thrones, but without the wars for the throne... unless we want to do that.

So, YaK 3 has a majority. Still, I encourage people who haven't posted yet to say what they think, and I remind the others that they can still change their mind, if they want. We'll call it a day once everyone voted, or once YaK 3 has a larger majority (something that a person or two changing their mind could not turn around).

So, YaK 3 won with a crushing majority. Now, we'll vote on what era it will be taking place. The eras we chose to vote for are:

-Antiquity (think Rome: republics, tribes and kingdoms)
-Low Middle-Ages (the beginning of feudal systems, barbarian tribes and a few crumbling empires, no more republics, the viking age. Asskicking = Authority)
-High Middle-Ages (the feudal system's golden age, new republics, no more tribes. The chivalry age. Authority = Asskicking.)
-Early Renaissance (the current setting for YaK 2. A time of innovation and change)
-Late Renaissance (science, culture and exploration are taking over the world. While there won't be any colonies, it might give access to new trade routes)

Note that GMs veto'ed gunpowder for the two renaissance settings. It's too easy to use it to break shit.

Earlier and later eras are unsuited for the game's system, so we won't vote for these.

My vote goes to... High Middle Ages.
