I'd like to finish my discussion with the generals in Ligoria before the season change. That way I'd be able to recruit new forces and give some orders in spring.

Well, yeah. But this thing with Gavin probably isn't going to end till some time tomorrow by the looks of it, so you've all got time for that.

That's why you put your first three engineers to the task of making more engineers. Every time they make four, set three more to training.

You can put three specialists together, and they'll train another specialist at a rate of 1 per...year or season, or something like that, I believe.

Also, iirc ,business can spawn specialists at half~one quarter of the price, the number of specialists being decided by the business size.

A service business where it would make sense to have those specialists available (per CG approval) can spend 1d to have a specialist by the next season. They can only do this a number of times equal to their size.
So I could hire train 2 specialists this season for 1d each, because my business is size 2. I couldn't rush the training at the cost of 2d though, afaik, but I think rulers can spend 2d to train a specialist for the next season or 3d to get them right away. Unless that's changed.

Missed this
How long is one week by the way, in game?

Time in fungible, but the avg movemtn rates are 4 provinces by land/season or 6 by sea

Also, iirc ,business can spawn specialists at half~one quarter of the price, the number of specialists being decided by the business size.

Specialists are hired from a service business at 2d/ea avail for the next season, 3 to be rushed. These are limited to the size/season (Sailors are a special case)
-You can also pay 3d to get -one- for the next season without the business

The only 1d specialists are Sailors which are limited to port size per season

Pretty sure only engineers know how to make gunpowder, just saying, I could be wrong.

Engineers are required to make gunpowder

Gunpowder production rates are too low D:

1/engineer/year...

Its been changed to 1/season per engineer

Alright so I'm gonna do my first actual roll, not gonna talk to guards or nothing.  So it takes 1 season to produce gunpowder, how much do the materials cost, and how is gunpowder used when it comes to guns and cannons?  Do you simply need gunpowder to make a gun, then never need gunpowder again? or do you need gunpowder and guns, and gunpowder is used up every battle? or every volley? or .1 every volley?  same with cannons?

Information of this sort would be, mostly, freely available - What kind of information do you want?

Training at rank 1 doesnt require any special /place/. Its more of a study sort of training, you can do it anywhere and any time.

Ligoria has several Inns/Taverns of an NPC nature.

About that training, it only extends to personal use? Or does it extend to personal Regiments for their own benefit?

Does upkeep matter on your first regiment?
