Also, if we can't get a significant consensus, we'll eliminate the least popular eras until we can get a majority on something.

Well, you know what? Going with a third YaK as my vote, I've had enough of the second. If we go with the third I'll get an epilogue post up there sometime.

And high middle ages sounds fine to me. Howeveer, I do have a couple of requests if we do play a third YaK. First off, shift all the trading table and such to use primats (AKA .XX Ducats.), and, that we revert the land rules to the last version we had (Not the one we're currently using.). It may not be as realistic, but it was hardly as fun as well, especially since the fact we'll have a lot more nobles this time around we'd need a lot more free land...

I'd like if before we start we all make our characters and work out how they all fit together so we don't have to waste time doing the thing that happened in the first one were thatkid became king and everyone just waltzed in and asked for a job.  New players would have to do that, but then maybe the king (if multiple) or lord they talk to sends them on a quest to prove that they are worth their time instead of just hiring some random person, yeah sure your some far off dukes estranged son but that means nothing to me, emperor firebrand the 3rd.

Really I just want some history already in place instead of everyone being startups (even the king)

Antiquity.  I think a Romanesque setting would be brilliant.

On a related note, if the existing YaK world is being abandoned would anyone have objections to my making use of it?  I plan to do a small party (max 6 players) RPG campaign here based around being part of a political embassy, and I'd love to set it about 60 years after the end of YaK2.

I have no problems, then again I barely had anything to do with the second one.

No problems with that. However, would you mind waiting for an epilogue to be completed before that?

Sure, I'm still ironing out the system and I'll be setting it on a different continent anyway (Did somebody say Conquistadors?), but I'd like to keep some of the old factions and identities in there for historical purposes.

For the record, my vote goes to either antiquity or early Renaissance, whichever has a better chance of winning (though neither of them seems likely at this point).

Timezones killed off my posting time, as well as work.

So +1 vote: YAK 3

High Middle Ages won, with 7 votes - a majority.

We have designed a map:

For reference, this thing here is the north-western hemisphere of Iitu. Basically, the size of Eurasia. What that means is that an hex is bigger than Ligoria.
